Josh Lucas is off the market, confirms engagement!

What’s up with such major celebrities keeping these huge secrets from their adoring public?! Josh Lucas, who is currently promoting his new show on NBC The Firm, announced his engagement last night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

As of right now, no one even knows who the lucky mystery lady is, but he does have a pretty amazing proposal story to tell his future children and grandchildren! It involves staying at an eco lodge in the middle of nowhere while working on a low budget film, a mountain lion, and a near death experience!

Congrats to Josh and his lady love on this wonderful engagement! Don’t forget to tune into the 2-hour season premiere of The Firm, Sunday, January 8th, 2012 on NBC.

On the Scene: Josh Lucas & Kat Dennings

Filming of Daydream Nation was in full force today. Co-stars Josh Lucas and Kat Dennings shot several scenes of the romantic drama in Vancouver, Canada.

I’m so glad to see Josh filming a new movie. I swear, the last thing I saw him in was in the 2006 film Poseidon which I was not very fond of.

This Michael Goldbach film follows Kat’s character who is a disaffected high school senior who ends up in an isolated Canadian hamlet with her widowed father. She assuages her boredom by getting into an affair with a teacher, as well as a more promising intimate relationship with a local druggie.

Also on set was co-star Landon Liboiron.

Things that make you go THUMP!

Last night the place to be was the The Gentlemen’s Ball 2009 hosted by GQ magazine which was held at The Edison Ballroom in New York City. Hunks including Entourage star Adrian Grenier, Josh Lucas, Kid Cudi, and Mark Wahlberg were in attendance.

I’m really looking forward for Mark’s new production entitled, How to make it in America starring Kid Cudi and Bryan Greenberg. The story which focuses on the attempts of twentysomethings Ben (Bryan Greenberg) and Cam (Victor Rasuk) to hustle their way through New York in pursuit of the American dream will premiere on HBO sometime in January.

Cutie couple Rachel McAdams and Josh Lucas hit the road in New York City today. The duo enjoyed a yoga class before jumping on a couple of bikes in Soho.

Lucas premiered his new film Tell Tale, at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday. He shares his feeling about the great city.

“There’s nothing like being in love in New York City. There’s a reason why the great filmmakers shoot movies here. It’s a magical place.”

It looks like lovebirds Rachel McAdams and Josh Lucas are looking to take their relationship to another level!  The couple were spotted checking out residences in East and West Village in New York today.

I know many of Rachel’s fans from The Notebook are quite sad to see she has moved on from her on/off screen love Ryan Gosling.  But these two seem like a really cute couple!

You can catch Rachel in her new film with Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck entitled, State of Play which hit theaters today!
