Sneak Peek Trailer: Julia Stiles is a single mom and escort in “Blue”

YouTube Original Channel Partner WIGS is getting ready to launch their second original series Blue starring Julia Stiles next week and we have the sneak peek trailer below! The Dexter alum stars as the title character Blue, a single mother trying to provide for her son by leading a double life as an escort. When a client and her son meet, she’s forced to come to terms with her choices.

The series also stars David Harbour, Sarah Paulson, Jeanne Tripplehorn, and Tony Plana.

WIGS, an innovative digital channel producing high-end, original, scripted dramatic series and short films about the lives of women.

“All of our shows and shorts combine high-end serialized content with great hooks and cliffhangers. They have edge; they’re a little bit naughty. The shows are fun, comedic at times, moving at others, and always entertaining,” remarked writer and director of Blue Rodrigo Garcia. “We want to hook people on great stories, great characters and create an addictive type of viewing experience where people are eager to see what’s next.”

Sounds like the perfect combination of awesomeness to me!

Julia Stiles keeps things casual in Los Angeles

Julia Stiles was caught by photographers while trying to depart from a local Bristol Farms supermarket in West Hollywood, California on Thursday, September 14th, 2011. The 30-year-old actress kept her look casual-yet-pretty in a melon colored top, black leggings, and neutral flats.

Celebrities must keep their guard up when stepping out of the house seeing how most of them look good ALL the time! If I had paparazzi following me around I would be mortified for the world to see the clothing I wear when I go to the market!

Even though a new season of Dexter is ready to return for the fall season, I can’t imagine we could expect to see an appearance by Stiles after what went down during the season finale. **SPOILER ALERT** I guess all along I knew that Dexter (Michael C Hall) could not end up with the “perfect” relationship, but I hoped he could find some kind of love and understanding from Lumen.

At least Julia scored an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of the woman with the tattered soul!

Stiles has a lot of upcoming projects including a film entitled, It’s a Disaster alongside David Cross and America Ferrera which she is currently shooting, according to IMDb.
