REVIEW: Glee “Original Songs”

For me, the sure sign of a really good episode of Glee is when I catch myself bopping around in my car jamming to the songs on my way to work the next morning. This morning I was not only jamming but I was full on gleeking out. I wanted to get out of my car at one of the longer red lights I have to sit through and dance as well but I just turned 40 last weekend and well, I no longer have any rhythm whatsoever. Last night’s episode was amazing. I loved every second of it completely.

Stars honored at the GLAAD awards!

The stars were out in full force last night at the 20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles.  The Civil rights group GLAAD honored the movie “Milk”, Reverend Gene Robinson and comedian Kathy Griffin for their work at a Saturday night gala highlighting issues such as gay marriage and equality.

Big winners were as follows:

* Vanguard Award: Kathy Griffin

* Stephen F. Kolzak Award: The Rt. Rev. V. Gene Robinson

* Special Recognition: The L Word (Showtime) [Accepted by: show creator Ilene Chaiken, with Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey]

* Special Recognition: Prop 8: The Musical (FunnyorDie.com) [Accepted by: director Adam Shankman]

* Outstanding Film – Wide Release: Milk (Focus Features) [Accepted by: director Gus Van Sant, screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, and producers Bruce Cohen and Dan Jinks]

Kathy Griffin flashes Paris Hilton!

Is Kathy Griffin bff’s with Paris Hilton?  She may not have participated in Paris’s reality show but Kathy Griffin was spotted shopping with the heiress at LA boutique Kitson on Robertson Boulevard today.    I have no idea if Kathy was trying to prove that she was wearing underwear or that it matched her outift but I think homegirl needs to stop trying to impress Paris with these antics.

No one wants to see your va-jay-jay Kathy!
