Top Knots: Kelly Osbourne battles Kim Kardashian!

It’s the hottest trend to hit Hollywood since the sock bun, the top knot is catching on as is evident by these images of Kelly Osbourne and Kim Kardashian! When I first saw Kelly wearing it around her native London, I figured it was a one off thing since she likes to have fun with her clothing and hair. This is, after all, the girl who has been rockin’ purple hair for months now!

But last night, reality star Kim Kardashian walked the red carpet for the E! Networks Brand Evolution event in Sydney, Australia with a similar looking top knot atop her head!  And while her ‘do didn’t remind us of  Cindy Lou Who (Sorry Kelly!), it does look like this is the start of a hot new trend.

AccidentalSexiness.com teams with Nivea to celebrate Perez Hilton’s Birthday!

As the Latina Brand Ambassador for Nivea, I knew I would get to do some pretty big things to help spread the word about their Million Moments of Touch campaign and last weekend I headed to Los Angeles, California to do just that! Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton celebrated his birthday on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at the Siren Studios and I had the pleasure to meet some pretty fabulous people including Tom Felton, Bella Thorne, JoJo, Bridget Marquardt, and Howie Dorough of The Backstreet Boys who all came by Nivea’s Kissing Booth to pose for photos.

Speaking of The Backstreet Boys, the guys were all in the house for a special performance that included some of their classic hits like I Want It That Way and Everybody. Throughout the night, guests were treated to some pretty fantastic singers including The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham, Glee star Amber Riley, and one of my favorites– Taylor Dayne!

Back at the kissing booth, more than 300 party goers took home Nivea lip products including the super popular “A Kiss of Vitamin Swirl” for women and “Nivea for Men Replenishing Lip Balm” for the boys.

I was exhausted by the end of the night when Far East Movement took the stage and I couldn’t dance one more song! These satin red heels from Nina Shoes I wore were beautiful but a big of a challenge after wearing them for six hours straight.

It’s a good thing the valet had my Kia Optima Turbo waiting for me at the door so that I could drive home and take in the nights excitement.

Lala Anthony launches new make-up line in Miami

Latina beauty Lala Anthony stepped onto the stage at Market America’s World Conference in Miami in front of 20,000 people to launch her beauty line, Motives for LaLa yesterday. With famous friends Kim Kardashian, Larsa and Scottie Pippen, Angie Martinez and Fat Joe all sitting front row, Lala spoke alongside Internet mogul Loren Ridinger, SVP of Market America/ Shop.com about the new collection.

Having my name on a cosmetics line has always been a dream, one I’m excited to share. Every girl always tries to find that perfect color or shade that suits their personality, and now she can do it easily and affordably.” -LaLa Anthony

I so can relate to what she is saying, 110%. Growing up, I went through phases of when my make-up was so many shades of ivory because there wasn’t much availability of products catered to women like me who are darker complected.

Fab or Fail: Kim Kardashian hits the streets in high waisted pants

Why do women keep trying to make the high waisted trend work? There has to be less than one percent of women who look good in this style of pants yet celebs keep trying to be the exception!

Kim Kardashian is the latest victim, seen here in these images departing from Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday, January 12th, 2012.  She is wearing a beautiful coral colored top, high-heeled nude Louboutin’s and a matching Hermes Birkin bag.  I’ve no idea who told Kimmy that these pants were the perfect compliment to the rest of the fabulous pieces but they should be fired.

These pants are a friend to no one!  They make her body shape look awkward when in reality she has great curves.

Kim Kardashian returns to the spotlight in Vegas

It has been a tumultuous year for Kim Kardashian, but you wouldn’t be able to tell that by the look of these photos! The reality star stepped out to celebrate the grand opening of the “Kardashian Khaos” store at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, December 15th, 2011.

Joining her for the big event were siblings Khloe, Robert, Kourtney and Kylie & Kendall Jenner.

Kim looked radiant in an animal print mini-dress with a leather belt cinching her waist and a pair of platform, espadrille sandals that wrapped at the ankle. Sisters Khloe and Kourtney opted for black ensembles while younger sibs Kylie and Kendall kept their outfits fresh and fun.

Kardashian Khaos, a new celebrity lifestyle boutique, is the first celebrity concept store of its kind. The store offers a variety of items, including all the products created by the Kardashian girls including t-shirts, novelty gambling chips, a surprise beach towel, playing cards, private label make-up by Stila, individually designed scented candles and more!

In a joint statement, the ladies said “we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to share some of our favorite products and even one-of-a-kind items with our fans, and happy that Felix (Rappaport, President and COO of The Mirage) and his team have welcomed us to The Mirage. Given that Las Vegas is the number one destination for countless travelers from around the world, having such a big presence there is a dream come true and very special to all of us. Khloe Kardashian keeps the reality tv cameras rolling!

With sister Kim Kardashian attempting to prove her quicky marriage to Kris Humphries wasn’t some media stunt in order to bring content for their reality show, sister Khloe and husband Lamar Odom are taking over the spotlight.

The duo were spotted leaving EL Floridita restaurant in Hollywood, California on Monday, November 7th, 2011. Cameras were rolling while Khloe and Lamar enjoyed some Cuban Cuisine at the beloved eatery where they no doubt discussed little Kimmy’s woes.

A spoof of the divorce was done by Saturday Night Live last weekend to which Mrs. Odom gave her seal of approval via Twitter.

“Ha! I just saw the SNL skit they did and I could not stop laughing…. LOL”

Captain Obvious Reports: Jessica Simpson confirms pregnancy and Kim Kardashian files for divorce

They said it wouldn’t last….and it didn’t. News broke this morning confirming rumors that Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce from her husband of 72 days Kris Humphries. No one was surprised except apparently poor Kris.

He released a statement to TMZ basically begging Ms. Kardashian for another chance. The guy apparently meant the vows he said in front of all those people he barely knew, the television cameras and even one guest who robbed him of a large amount of money.

“I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents.”

The website further claims that the Armenian reality star dumped her man because she didn’t want to move to his native Minnesota. We really can’t blame the basketball star as he might have been blind sided by the dollar signs and not realized who his bridezilla really was.

If you don’t know now you know…

And since Captain Obvious was working overtime on this rainy Halloween, we also received confirmation that bumptastic Jessica Simpson is indeed with child. I don’t know anyone who didn’t already know this but at least it looks like J. Simps had a lot of fun creating the announcement.

The baby will be the first for the singer-turned-designer and fiancee Eric Johnson.
