Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

New Kids on the Block bring it to Late Night

Our favorite Bean Town boys visited with Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote the release of their new dvd entitled Coming Home which released today. The New Kids on the Block performed a medley of their songs including “Tonight,” “Dirty Dancing,” “Right Stuff,” “Step by Step,” and my favorite song “Please Don’t Go Girl.”

The performance was even more amazing due to the fact that Jimmy’s house band THE ROOTS performed with them!!

Ya know, when I watch the boys perform it makes me want to “fave” each one of them but deep down inside I will always be a Jonathan Knight girl.

Check out the video below and don’t forget to pick up Coming Home in stores now!

Mark Paul Gosselaar visits Jimmy Fallon

I seriously can’t believe this interview just happened! Mark Paul Gosselaar a.k.a. Zach Morris from Saved By The Bell visited with Jimmy Fallon last night in character! I don’t think I’ve ever seen this done before, and it was EPIC!

I never imagined I’d ever see MPG dressed in the 90′s outfit made famous by his character and his trademark blond hair ever again. Jimmy made it happen! This has all happened because Fallon wants to reunite the cast on his show. It really looks like its gonna happen.

The only thing that will be ruined for me is to see that douche who played Screech. Yeah I know his name but I will not give promotion to someone who does not deserve it.

Zach updates us on his marries with Kelly Kapowski and even gets a call on his old school cellphone from buddy Jesse Spano!

Gael García Bernal & Diego Luna visit Jimmy Fallon

Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal

@ Press Conference to Announce The 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival 5/5/09

What an amazing comedic duo! Gael García Bernal & Diego Luna visited Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote their new movie, Rudo y Cursi.

The two new hawt daddy’s chatted about their characters Rudo (which means rude), and Cursi (which means corny with a twist of cute) and they share a hilarious clip of Bernal singing in the film and by that scene alone I know I can’t miss this flick!!

My jealousy grew when Diego confessed who was a better kisser…….Sean Penn, Bernal or Tom Hanks!?

You can catch Rudo y Cursi in limited release starting this Friday.

Anna Kournikova is promoting something…

I’m not sure what Jimmy Fallon or Anna Kournikova was saying, mostly because I kept having wipe the drool off my shirt all while my other 4 senses focused their energy on my eyes watching her, but I have to thank everyone involved at  Late Night for getting her to prance around on the stage for just a little longer. Man, it brings back old memories of the days when you could admire an athlete regardless of the fact that she was a mediocre tennis player. AK is looking hotter than ever! Man I miss tennis. Check out Kournikova.com to see what she’s up to.

Russell Brand visits Jimmy Fallon

Russell Brand visited with Jimmy Fallon last night to torture me with his witty humor and that extremely sexy outfit.  I’m so glad Jimmy brought up the whole Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb interview from The Today Show.  As Russell said, “those women were seeped in estrogen!”  So much so that he was surprised that he didn’t get them pregnant!!

He shows off his picture in the new edition of Vanity Fair where he dresses as Charlie Chaplin, becoming a comedic institution, and which American comedians inspire him.  I can’t believe he is going all the way to Australia to do his stand-up comedy.  Come to Miami please!!

Pussycat Dolls visit Jimmy Fallon

Nicole Scherzinger & the fierce chicks known as the Pussycat Dolls performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night.  Even Jimmy seems to be overwhelmed by their ferocity!  He gets all nervous when its time to kiss them hello.

The ladies sing the English remix of Jai-Ho from hit movie, Slumdog Millionaire. At first glance I thought this song was them dissing Jennifer Lopez.  I got so excited!

Jimmy Fallon “slow jams” into his first Late Night!

In case you were completely pissed off at The Bachelor last night and took it out on your TV, NBC debuted Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC. I always liked Jimmy Fallon on SNL, but wasn’t really sure if I was going to like what he brought to a Late Night show. To sum it up, he was visibly nervous throughout the entire show, but played it like a guy who was confident with what he was working with. Looking back, I don’t know that he should’ve started with a A-lister like DeNiro, although it looks great on paper. It was a tough interview, and Jimmy looked like he was swinging too hard for the fences on his first at-bat. Definitely awkward. The Justin Timberlake interview on the other hand, seemed like 2 buds hanging out, reminiscing about past times, until they get to the point where they’re catching up on what’s going on and realize they don’t really have much to talk about. Although the lineup for this show was great, neither guest had anything to actually talk about. Not good. Overall, I think Jimmy is going to do a great job and is certainly headed in the right direction.

The highlight of last night’s show for me was the last part of his monologue called “Slow Jam the News”. Having The Roots for this bit made it perfect and left me looking forward to the next one. Enjoy.
