Poor Lil Kim!  All this hard work has taken a toll on her too.  She is the latest contestant on Dancing with the Stars to be injured.  She kept a brave face during her performance yesterday but during her last practice a week ago she hurt a rib.

“It was fun but a little nerve wracking,” Lil’ Kim tells In Touch about doing the encore dance. “I have a small injury, well it’s not small, but I popped my rip out earlier this week and ripped one of the muscles under my rib. I didn’t know.”

She really should not continue on, especially with next weeks challenge: The Jive.

“There is no time to relax,” she says. “We have to learn the jive and it’s really energetic – what do I do?

But Kim knows her partner Derek Hough has got her back.

“He’ll use a plan B when it comes to the choreography,” she says. “And whether I am comfortable or not I have to do it. I’m excited for the dance, but the injury has me a little nervous.”

Lil Kim and Derek Hough have quickly become one of my favorite couples. I hope she is able to cope with this injury.
