REVIEW: NCIS – 8.15 “Defiance”

Well, that’ll get my interest for the show! Right off the bat we see an injured Tony (Michael Weatherly) and a rather worn looking McGee (Sean Murray). Moments later, Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) pulls up and threatens to take the pairs badges of “this” isn’t cleaned up. Oh no! Of course, Gibbs will clear it all up. But how? And how did we get to this point??

Rewind! Three days earlier… NCIS has hired themselves an uncanny Hillary Clinton [Read more...]

REVIEW: NCIS – Episode 8.14 “A Man Walks Into a Bar…”

The doctor is in. Is the NCIS team is out, of their minds? Turns out the team is way overdue for the psych evaluations. Being the best NCIS team in the world, our guys are always on the go, so Dr. Rachel Cranston (Wendy Makkena) tags along to investigate the shooting of a Naval Commander. Agent DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) makes an excellent first impression on the Doc as she walks up during his Man o’ War (horse) impression. But, he nails Agent McGee well when Dr Cranston says most people talk about their sex lives. That rules McGee (Sean Murray) out…

The doctor takes no time at all breaking into Ziva’s [Read more...]

REVIEW: NCIS – Episode 8.13 “Freedom”

Hooray! Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) is back! Sorry, I don’t know why, but I like the character. He’s a brief relief from the same-ol-same-ol. Anywho, on with the show! This week’s NCIS introduces us to a dead Marine, his nearly emotionless high school sweetheart wife, his girls-gone-wild girlfriend, and a potentially sleezy bar owner. Who dunnit?

The plot thickens when we find out [Read more...]

NCIS gets some therapy and a new face

Perhaps because of President Obama’s State of the Union, or perhaps because they’re just stringing us along, we were left with NCIS reruns last night. That, however, does not mean I will leave you without any news on the team! Several bits of news have popped up on the interwebs and all of it sounds very interesting!

First of all, next weeks episode. It going to be [Read more...]

REVIEW: NCIS – Episode 8.12 “Recruited”

This week the NCIS team has to solve the case of a Recruiter at a high school. And they”ll have to do it without Ziva. Much to Tony’s displeasure, Ziva is using her comp time to visit her South Beach Cassanova. I love when Tony is jealous of Ziva’s boyfriends.

Luckily, we do have an interesting [Read more...]

REVIEW: NCIS – Episode 8.11 “Ships in the Night”

NCIS opened tonight with a familiar face. Coast Guard Agent Abigail Borin is on a blind date (wishing she was blind I believe) aboard a dinner boat. While escaping her date, she was chatted up by a handsome Marine Lieutenant, Patrick Nolan (Wes Brown, you’ll remember as uber annoying Luke McDonald in True Blood). Sadly, moments later, our Marine ends up dead of lead poisoning.

Our team of superheros misfit NCIS agents show up later to greet their old pal and start investigating the crime. While interviewing the victim’s family, we learn that Lt. Nolan [Read more...]

NCIS digs into DiNozzo’s past

NCIS's Tony DiNozzo

TVLine got the scoop on some news that I’m very happy to hear! My very favorite NCIS Special Agent, Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), will be getting is own origins episode this spring! Hooray! We’ve seen lots of Gibbs (Mark Harmon) backstory over the years. Lately there has been plenty delving into Director Vance’s (Rocky Carroll) past. We were around for McGee’s (Sean Murray) beginnings and we’ve learned most of Ziva’s (Cote de Pablo) as well. But, this is the first we’ll really get to see into Tony’s past.

We know that Tony was [Read more...]
