On screen super villain Mark Strong walked the red carpet at the World Premiere of his new film ‘Inception’ held at the Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 in London, England.
The handsome British actor was surrounded the stars of the dramatic thriller including Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ken Watanabe, Cilian Murphy, Ellen Page, and Michael Caine.

While some fans worry Mark Strong will be typecast as a bad guy, the actor admits he loves playing villains! Strong is playing the bad guy role of Frank D’Amico in the upcoming Brad Pitt produced film Kick-Ass and just starred as Lord Geoffrey Blackwood in Guy Richie’s Sherlock Holmes movie.
So what is it that attracts Strong to these roles?
“They’re my favourite – they’re dark, interesting and multi-layered so I’m happy to play them,” he said.
He is set to play more bad boy roles in his next two films. He will star as Sir Godfrey in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood and as the villain Sinestro in the upcoming Martin Campbell directed movie Green Lantern.
