Look, we all know superheroes are very much en vogue in Hollywood these days. We also all know how skintight attire really, reeeeeally works with hot guys (I’m still recovering from the sight of Thor and Captain America presenting at the Golden Globes.) But dude, how much more “the Fantastic Three Take Mystic Falls” can that still with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) look? There’s no invisible woman but Caroline (Candice Accola) pretty much fits the look, so I guess we’re covered.

As we take a glimpse at these exclusive behind-the-scenes photos of The Vampire Diaries, before tonight’s super-explosive (per usual TVD habit) episode, we can only say that, other than the excellent writing, it is hard to match the sexiness going around TVD these days. And, forgive me, but I say this especially bearing in mind the funny sexiness of that Alaric/Jenna/Elena scene. Which is all I can think of looking at the above photo portraying Alaric (Matt Davis). Let me recover from my undying jealousy for Nina Dobrev for a minute here. Girl’s got the best job in the entire universe..
