Mel Gibson and his baby momma Oksana Grigorieva attended the premiere of his new movie, The Edge of Darkness held at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California last night.
The controversial actor sat with Jay Leno this week where he opened up about his 3-month-old daughter Lucia and how he handles when she wakes up in the middle of the night crying.
“There’s shortcuts, I guess. Earplugs, you know! “I will be honest, I would say that her mother does the lion’s share of that work, but you know, I support her.”
I think what he means is that he is paying Oksana enough money that he can’t really be bothered to get up.
In the Edge of Darkness Mel plays Thomas Craven, a homicide detective who investigates the death of his activist daughter. In the process he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.
It hits theaters this Friday.

It’s just another day at the office for Mel Gibson. The actor, his beaver puppet, and his co-star/director Jodie Foster were filming scenes of their new film The Beaver in New York City today.
In this scene, Mel’s character makes an appearance on NBC’s The Today Show in Rockefeller Plaza.

Mel Gibson and his co-star Jodi Foster were busy on set of their new movie, The Beaver in New York City yesterday. If you check out these shots you can see that Mel has a puppet on his hand!
It’s because the premise of this movie revolves around Walter Black (Gibson) who walks around with a puppet of a beaver on his hand and treats it like a living creature. This is definitely an original idea and I’m quite curious to see how this all plays out on screen.
The film is being directed by Foster who will also play Mel’s wife, Meredith.
Sometimes rumors are true! Mel Gibson has released confirmation that his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is expecting their first child together! The couple recently went public at the X-Men Origins: Wolverine premiere.
“He couldn’t be happier,” says a Gibson friend. “He loves being a father.”
Mel was married to Robyn for 28 years but have been separated for the last 3 years. She filed for divorce on April 13th citing irreconcilable differences. They have 7 children together.
Oksana, who is signed to Mel’s record label is in her second trimester and due in the fall.

A source is claiming the two have been dating for three years.

A source told The Sun, “Robyn put up with Mel for years but when she found out Oksana was telling friends she was expecting it was the last straw.
The report also claims the Braveheart star moved the 39-year-old and her 11-year-old son into one of his mansions in California. She was spotted outside Mel’s mansion talking on her cellphone yesterday.
Gibson could potentially lose an estimated $1 billion in the divorce.
