Nina Dobrev, Michelle Williams and Dania Ramirez hit the red carpet InStyle

Due to the warmer temperatures in California, we are getting a fabulous sneak peek into some springs looks on the red carpet! Michelle Williams, Dania Ramirez, and Nina Dobrev set the perfect example as to trends we can expect to see next season at the InStyle and Forevermark pre-Golden Globes bash held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday, January 10th, 2011.

Williams led the charge in a white Versace dress while Dobrev, who stars on The CW hit The Vampire Diaries, rocked a floral chiffon dress by Monique Lhuillier. Dania Ramirez kept things fiery, like a good Latina knows how to do, in a low-cut red dress from Max Azria and nude pumps.  The former Entourage and Heroes star took to Twitter to thank her famous stylist and good friend Mena Suvari for helping her coordinate the outfit.

The dress is a hit… Could not have done it without you @mena13suvari Fashion!

Other beautiful ladies who worked the red carpet last night were Jessica Alba (who wore a black dress by Valentino), Busy Phillips, Julianne Hough, Jessica Szohr, Sanaa Lathan, and Sophia Bush.

Love the looks ladies! Can’t wait to see what you are all wearing to the Golden Globes!

Michelle Williams premieres ‘My Week with Marilyn’ in New York City

Michelle Williams looked spectacular during the My Week With Marilyn New York premiere held at The Paris Theatre on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 in New York City. Joining her on the lush red carpet were co-stars Zoe Wanamaker, Kenneth Branagh, Dominic Cooper and director Simon Curtis.

Also striking a fashionable pose were Morena Baccarin and fashion designers Margherita Missoni and Rachael Roy.

I had the chance to preview the trailer for the dramatic film on Friday before the Immortals and I am so excited to see it! There is a reason Michelle Williams is getting rave reviews for her portrayal of the infamous blond bombshell.

The film follows Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne), an employee of Sir Laurence Olivier’s (Branagh), documents the tense interaction between Olivier and Marilyn Monroe (Williams) during production of The Prince and the Showgirl.

My Week With Marilyn opens in theaters on November 23rd.

Michelle Williams shines as Marilyn Monroe in October issue of Vogue

Channelling the late Marilyn Monroe, Michelle Williams graces the cover of the October issue of Vogue looking absolutely gorgeous. The stellar actress is photographed as the iconic bombshell in a series of photos by Annie Leibvotiz to promote her latest flick, My Week with Marilyn.

In the movie, Williams plays Monroe, based on memoirs by the late documentary filmmaker Colin Clark (son of Sir Kenneth) chronicling the turbulent story behind the shooting of The Prince and the Showgirl, the 1957 comedy in which Monroe starred opposite Sir Laurence Olivier (played here by Kenneth Branagh) who also served as director.

Michelle, like many young girls, grew up idolizing Monroe from her blonde hair, curvy body and her feisty personality.

“There was just something about that image of her—so lovely and joyful and free. I’ve always thought of her as that woman-child, not an icon, which is probably why I let myself approach the role.”

Taking on such a large role also required Michelle to do her homework and transform herself into all things Marilyn. michelle-cover-293x400

“I’d go to bed every night with a stack of books next to me and I’d fall asleep to movies of her. It was like when you were a kid and you’d put a book under your pillow hoping you’d get it by osmosis.”

Michelle even worked to perfect the sex goddess’ signature walk and gained weight to reflect her curvy hips. Despite most of the weight going to her face, the experience was still life changing.

“It felt like being reborn. It felt like breaking my body and remaking it in her image, learning how she walked and talked and held her head. None of that existed in my physical memory, and I knew I needed as much time as possible to make it part of me.”

While she is usually very reserved and even closed off in interviews, she is now boosting about her new life.

“Maybe it has something to do with turning 30. I don’t feel as shy or nervous or self-conscious. I have more confidence that I can handle what life brings me. I don’t feel scared to have an idea and express it.”

My Week With Marilyn hits theaters November 4, 2011.
