Case in point, Zoe Saldana almost had a perfect gown. Sadly it just had too much going on.

During the period of time that you have been living under a rock, we have put a man on the moon, women now wear the pants in relationships, and Jay-Z has become the hottest rapper alive. The songwriting team of “Party in the USA”
Miley Cyrus’ recent number one hit, “Party In the USA” contains a line where she refers to being inspired and bobbing her head to a Jay-z song, but little did her songwriters know that she has never even heard one of the multi Grammy award winner’s tracks. Miley commented during a Halloween pre-show interview regarding her single,
“I’ve never heard a Jay-Z song. I don’t listen to pop music.”
She then goes on to explain how her songwriting team composed the song and she just picked it to go with her clothing line and blah, blah, blah, blah. My grandmother is 80 years old and wears two hearing aids… and she has still heard several Jay-Z tracks! Get outa here with all that, Miley!
Up until this very moment, I wasn’t sure if I believed the rumors about Miley Cyrus having a guest role in the new Sex and the City movie. Rumor had it she was going to play a young version of Carrie.
Secondary rumors turned out to be the truth. Miley ends up at the red carpet premiere of Smith Jerrod’s (Jason Lewis) new film, Heart of the Desert at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City wearing the same dress as Samantha (Kim Cattrall)!!
The duo were sporting sequined Matthew Williamson cocktail dresses from his Fall 2009 Collection. The accessories however are from SATC designer Pat Field.
Also on the red carpet were Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) her hubby Mr. Big (Chris Noth) and the fabulous Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone.)
Another rumor going around was surrounding Anthony and Carrie’s gay BFF Stanford Blatch (Willie Garson.) I tried to question Willie about this when I had a special Q & A with him for his new show White Collar but he could not say a word!!
Do you notice Anthony is wearing a ring on that oh-so-special finger in this picture?! Things that make you go hmn….
I’m waiting for my invitation in the mail. It seems I am the only one left who has not received an invitation to cameo in Sex and the City 2!!
Let’s review who has already landed a guest starring role:
Tim Gunn- Confirmed today for cameo. No word on his role but he is filming his scenes today.
Miley Cyrus- is said to be playing herself in a scene in which she and Samantha Jones hit the same red carpet in the same dress.
Liza Minelli- she is going to perform Beyonce’s hit “Single Ladies” at “a wedding.” (Stanford & Tony’s rumored wedding?)
Penelope Cruz- Spotted shooting scenes with Chris Noth. Is she having the rumored affair with Mr. Big?
The only one missing there is me! I want to play Stanford’s (Willie Garson) party planner or something. Write me in guys!
A PHONE NUMBER!
Imagine how surprised Lil John must have been when he started receiving phone calls for Miley Cyrus? The Crunk Pioneer has been receiving phone calls from Miley’s friends who have not yet been given her new number.
“I was basically in shock, like how did that happen?!” he said in a statement. “Especially when I get texts like ‘CONGRATULATIONS ON TEEN VOGUE!’”
He doesn’t really mind the calls and is planning on keeping the discarded number.
“I’m gonna keep it cause I don’t answer numbers I don’t know any way!” he said, adding that he’s a fan of the “Hannah Montana” star.
“Yeah, I like Miley! My son likes her show!” he said. “I’ll probably run into her at some award show.”

Thanks to the Disney/ABC conglomerate, it seems as if Miley Cyrus came in character to the Oscars tonight, or brushed on some Elmer’s glue and jumped into a pool of Swarovski crystals after throwing on the dress she wore to the Oscars. If it were closer to Halloween, I’d say she was dressing up as a white Christmas tree! It’s not so much the dress, I think, but maybe the person wearing it. I think this illuminated number was a bit much for someone her age. She didn’t really fill out the dress. It’s almost as if she went into her mom’s closet and grabbed the most elaborate dress she thought would be suitable for the Oscars. Try again next year. Hannah Montana in a bad dress at the Oscars? The worst of both worlds.
