Who knew Elton John and Neil Patrick Harris were such besties?! The legendary singer was joined by husband David Furnish and their ADORABLE son Zachary during a warm vacation with NPH and his fiance David Burtka and their twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace in St. Tropez on Thursday, August 4th, 2011.

The funny thing is, it doesn’t seem like the photographer even realized that the How I Met Your Mother star and his family were along for the trip. I only JUST realized it was him in the corner of a couple of frames.

I’d have loved to have seen better shots of the twins!

Neil recently boasted about his babies having a play date with 7 1/2 month old Zachary, so its not totally left field that these two families have bonded.
