Watch Jennifer Lopez “Hanging Tough” with New Kids on the Block

After following Jennifer Lopez’s career for so many years, I thought I knew it all. Well surprise surprise! During her interview on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the mommy of twins confessed that her first meaningful gig was as a back up dancer for the New Kids on the Block in 1991!

You can see in the video (at about the 6:40 mark) where she is breaking it down at the American Music Awards with Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Danny Wood , Jonathan Knight, and if I’m not mistaken, she is totally backing that azz up to Joey McIntyre!

Soon after, the television sketch show In Living Color would come knocking on this Boricua’s door and the rest is, as they say, history.

New Kids on the Block star Joey McIntyre partners with Hear the World

Musician Joey McIntyre is the latest famous face to lend his support to Hear the World, a global initiative launched by hearing instrument manufacturer Phonak to raise awareness about the importance of hearing and the consequences of hearing loss. McIntyre also appears in the Hear the World public service announcement around the importance of pediatric hearing testing and early diagnosis.

New NKOTBSB Tour Dates!

Fresh off their sizzling hot performance on the American Music Awards, the Backstreet Boys and the New Kids on the Block have announced a whole mess of new shows on what has to be the biggest tour of 2011. It’s official! The boys announced the NKOTBSB TOUR on the Ryan Seacrest show this morning along with some preliminary tour dates and on sale info. Donnie Wahlberg, Joe McIntyre, Danny Wood, Jon and Jordan Knight are teaming up with Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Nick Carter to dazzle and amaze their way across America.

Nothing like some wholesome teen pop to bring a divided nation together again. If you are a member of Block Nation or the official BSB Fan Club then you’ll get exclusive pre-sale access. The first set of dates goes on sale to the general public on November 19 at Livenation and Ticketmaster.
