The stork has brought a new blessing into the Richie/Madden household, the couple welcomed a baby boy!
“In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. He weighs 7 lbs. 14 oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes,” the couple wrote on Richie’s website.
Baby Sparrow joins older sister Harlow who was born in January 2008.

The word on the streets is that Nicole Richie has gone into labor! Richie reportedly checked into a local hospital during the Labor Day weekend to give birth to her second child with boyfriend Joel Madden.
The couple opted not to know the sex of the baby so we will just have to wait and see!

Chanel may be feeling the economic crunch but Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are helping them with some sales! Nicole and Joel enjoyed some after New Years shopping on Rodeo drive yesterday.
