Lily Allen has no Fear!

lilyleno

A very tan Lily Allen performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night.  I’ve been reading about everyone’s opinion of this fierce bitch and her performance last night and I have to say everyone loves it!

If you don’t have her new cd yet, “It’s Not Me It’s You” go to itunes or amazon and get it!  If you buy the digital version off amazon its a mega bargain at $3.99!!

Lily performed her first single entitled, The Fear.

Beyonce sings for the Obama’s!

beyonceobama1Beyonce performed at the Barack Obama’s Inaugural Celebration on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial today. She sang “America the Beautiful” with the help of Bruce Springsteen, Will.i.am, and a full gospel choir in red robes.

President Obama took the stage and had these words to say:

“As I stand here tonight, what gives me the greatest hope . . . is you: Americans of every race and region and station who came here because you believe in what this country can be and because you want to help us get there.”

NKOTB perform on BBC!

New Kids on the Block performed during the “National Lottery” on BBC1 in London last night. They performed their latest single, “2 in the Morning.” The boys will be performing tomorrow night in Manchester, England.

Have you guys heard about their cruise on May 15th? With the state of the economy, I didn’t think the tickets would be selling out so quickly. It’s nearly sold out.

Boy did they pick a good time to make a comeback.

Could I love Eddie Izzard more than right now?

izzard

Eddie Izzard is my hero. Seriously. I am so impressed when celebrities go out of their way to do the right thing for their fans.

North Londoner Will Pike sadly became  a victim of the Mumbai terror attacks in November.  His hotel was ambushed by terrorists while him and his girlfriend Kelly Doyle were on vacation at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

While recovering from his injuries in a South London hospital after falling from a makeshift rope he made from his bedsheets to attempt an escape.  The 28-year-old broke three of his vertebrae, both his arms and shattered his pelvis.

Due to his injuries he had to give up his tickets for Eddie Izzard’s comedy show in London last month. So his dad wrote to Eddie to see if he would be so kind and write his son a letter to cheer him up.

Eddie could have written a note to make this guys day but he chose to do something bigger. He showed up at the hospital and performed his entire 90 minute show for him!

It’s so easy to talk badly about celebrities because, well they do a lot of stupid things but every now and again they surprise you with a story like this!

When Eddie was contacted for comment he simply stated it was a personal matter and declined to comment further.
