Alexander Skarsgard: Why so serious?

With his popularity on the small and big screen at an all-time high, why is Alexander Skarsgard looking so serious on the blue carpet? One could guess that since his #1 Fan, ie me, was not present that this would be enough for the Swedish stud to look so glum.

But regardless of the reason, I’m always happy to see new photos of the True Blood hunk– especially in that stunning Tom Ford suit! He made a special appearance at the premiere Of Universal Pictures’ ‘Battleship’ held at The Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Thursday, May 10th, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.

Joining him for the occasion were his co-stars Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker, Taylor Kitsch, and Liam Neeson.

I was happy to see Rihanna out-and-about after she ended up in the hospital earlier this week. There have been a variety of reasons given for her hospitalization including exhaustion and flu-like symptoms. Friends are reportedly worried about her having drug or alcohol issues and want her to go to rehab.

I love RiRi and hope she gets the help she needs, even if its just a nice vacation!

She did rock the carpet in a flowy white dress from Adam Selman and sexy heels from Manolo Blahnik. Decker also kept her ensemble neutral in a Dior dress.

Oh by the way, ASkars didn’t stay grumpy the whole time! It looks like all he needed was to be around his biggest fans to perk him right up!

Rihanna and Brooklyn Decker keep it fashionable at Battleship premiere

Even though they have practically been living out of suitcases, albeit fancy ones with tons of designer digs, Rihanna and Brooklyn Decker stepped-out in their most fashionable ensemble while Down Under! Both beauties were photographed while walking the red carpet at the Battleship Australian premiere at Luna Park on Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 in Sydney, Australia.

RiRi has had a thing lately for pantsuits and nothing seems to have changed this go around. She rocked a Stella McCartney jumpsuit and a pair of strappy Manolo Blahnik heels. Model-turned-actress Decker donned a J. Mendel dress and Jimmy Choo heels.

Also spotted at the event was their handsome co-star Taylor Kitsch. But where on Earth is Alexander Skarsgard? Probably busy shooting scenes from the HBO hit True Blood but I’m sure he will be around for more of the US promotions.

I gotta send some love out Rihanna who went on record this week with her true feelings on co-star Skarsgard.

“Alexander Skarsgard is so hot,” the 24-year-old singer told British More! magazine. “I had to keep my game face. I could stare at him all day long. I was just watching him on set.”

I doubt there are many women out there that could resist all that hotness!

Alexander Skarsgard and Rihanna premiere ‘Battleship’ in Japan

All the pretty people have hightailed it to the far East to support the upcoming release of Peter Berg’s latest film, Battleship. Alexander Skarsgard, Rihanna, Taylor Kitsch, and Brooklyn Decker were photographed on the red carpet of the world premier held at Yoyogi National Gymnasium on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012 in Tokyo, Japan.

Leave it to RiRi to rock an ensemble that would probably not work on anyone else! The Barbadian bag girl looked fab in a Pucci pant suit which she accesorized with a long necklace and big hoop earrings from Tom Ford. As much as I liked her blond hair, I think this darker shade works better on her! #workitgirl

The most handsome Swede on the planet, Alexander Skarsgard did his thing for the cameras in a dark gray suit and matching tie. Its been a hot minute since I’ve done a post on the True Blood hottie and I must say, its fantastic to see him back!

Brooklyn has been having fun wearing Stella McCartney for much of the Battleship promotional tour, so why stop for the big Japanese premiere right? The style definitely works well on her fit bod, especially that golden belt cinching her waist.

Battleship opens in US theaters on May 18th.

Rihanna cuddles up to Taylor Kitsch at Battleship photocall

Showing off her blond locks, Barbadian beauty Rihanna stepped out for a special photocall for her latest film, Battleship at The Corinthia Hotel on March 28, 2012 in London, England. Joining her at the event was director Peter Berg and co-stars Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker who looked gorgeous in a Stella McCarney dress.

Missing from the group was the biggest hunk of all, Alexander Skarsgard who plays the role of Stone Hopper in the movie based on the classic children’s game by Hasbro.

Our girl RiRi is making her big screen debut in the action thriller that follows an international naval fleet at Pearl Harbor who engage in a dynamic and intense battle against an alien species known as “The Regents”. The aliens come to planet Earth on a mission to build a power source in the ocean. Upon their visit, they come in contact with the naval fleet. The film is also purported to show both sides of the story, from the aliens’ perspective, as well as the humans’ so the audience knows exactly where the opponent’s ships are.

Battleship hits theaters on May 18th, 2012.

Grammy Awards Best Dressed: Rihanna in Armani

Ok it might be a little early to crown Rihanna as the “Best Dressed” at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards but her Scarface inspired gown and Christian Louboutin heels have me pretty excited! As part of a collaboration between RiRi and Armani, the low-cut black gown showed off her fit bod as it hugged her in all the right places.

For those of you that follow my fashion coverage during any awards show, you KNOW how much I prefer colorful or metallic gowns to black ones. I think that the red carpet is a time to step out of your comfort zone and really show off your fun personality.

But the 23-year-old has proven me wrong. A black dress can be sexy, stylish and VA-VA-VA Voom! Well done Rihanna, you looked FIERCE!

If this is an example of what we can expect to see from her capsule collection from Armani, I can’t wait to see it!

The native Barbadian has already claimed a Grammy this evening for “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” for “All of the Lights” alongside Kid Cudi and Fergie and one for “Best Rap Song” also for “All of the Lights” and is up for a few more.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Rihanna welcome New Year in Miami, Ciroc style!

Leave it to Sean Diddy Combs and Ciroc to throw not one, not two but five New Year’s hottest parties across the United States! Of course he served as host in the Magic City while Real Housewives Kim Zolciak, Taylor Armstrong, Gretchen Rossi, and Alexis Bellino & Tamara Barney held down the fort in New York City, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles respectively.

Diddy was surrounded by some of the biggest names in entertainment including a bra-less Rihanna, Oprah’s BFF Gayle King, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, and Queen Latifah at a private estate in Miami Beach, Florida on December 31st, 2011. Honored guests were treated to an amazing performance by R&B singer-songwriter Ne-Yo to usher in 2012.

What a way to welcome the new year! I hope 2012 is fabulous for you all!

Rihanna relaxes beachside ahead of NYE performance!

I think more folks are closing out the year wearing swimsuits than ever before! My girl Rihanna had some fun in the sun with her younger brother Rajad in their native Barbados on Thursday, December 29th, 2011.

She was also seen zipping around on a jet ski with a young girl named Ali. I want to vacation with RiRi!

New Years Eve will be a big night for the We Found Love singer, she will headline a VIP bash for UK’s Global Radio boss Ashley Talbot at the luxurious Sandy Lane hotel. The X-Factor creator and judge Simon Cowell is expected to be amongst the guests partaking of the glamorous festivities.

Riri became Tourism Ambassador of her native Barbados earlier this year and will hold the position for the next three years. If you are looking for a reason to travel there, though I doubt anyone needs much convincing, here is what the 23-year-old has to say.

‘Barbados is a place like no other and one of the reasons for this is the spirit and national pride of our people. I want each and every visitor to this beautiful island to experience what makes this destination different from all others and that is the spirit and warmth of my fellow Barbadians.’

There is no word as to how much she is getting paid for her performance on Sunday but you can bet it has LOTS of zero’s!
