Matthew McConaughey gets engaged, Robert DeNiro welcomes baby girl!

Love was in the air this holiday season! Matthew McConaughey proudly announced his engagement to Camila Alves last night via his official WhoSay account. The message said, “just asked camila to marry me, merry Christmas.”

The couple, who are parents to Levi Alves McConaughey (born 2008) and daughter Vida Alves McConaughey (born 2010), also shared this beautiful photo of the special moment after she said “Yes.” (Notice the Texas native’s latest bald haircut!)

Matt and Camila have been together since 2007. Congrats!

Also making big news while we all celebrated with our families….Legendary actor Robert DeNiro and wife Grace Hightower welcomed a baby girl via surrogate! Helen Grace is their second child and weighed in at at 7 lbs., 2 oz according to People Magazine.

Their thirteen-year-old son Elliot is said to be embracing his new duty as big brother! Baby Helen also has older siblings Drena and Raphael, who are 40 and 35 respectively, from his marriage to Diahnne Abbott, and 16-year-old twin brothers Julian and Aaron, also born via surrogate from his relationship with Toukie Smith.

Congrats to the DeNiro clan!

Jude Law arrives for Jury duty

Looking all kinds of yummy in a navy blue suit and crisp white shirt, actor Jude Law attended the Jury Photocall held at the Palais des Festivals during the 64th Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, May 11th, 2011 in Cannes, France. Joining him were fellow jurors Uma Thurman, Olivier Assayas, Linn Ullmann, Martina Gusman, Nansun Shi, Mahamat Saleh Haroun, Johnnie To, and President of the Jury Robert de Niro.

The jury of the Festival de Cannes will adjudicate between the 19 films in competition before naming the winners of the seven awards, to be presented during the Closing Ceremony, and which will culminate in the announcement of the Palme d’Or.

Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper return to “Limitless”

Abbie Cornish shoots The Dark Fields

Abbie Cornish is having an action packed day on the set of her new movie, The Dark Fields on Wednesday, March 31st. She was shooting scenes at the famous Wollman Rink located in New York’s Central Park.

As you can see in many of these photos, the recently single actress performed many of her own stunts including carrying a young girl across the rink.

Is it just me or does Abbie look like a young version of Nicole Kidman?
