Ryan Gosling dons dapper threads on set of Gangster Squad

Does this man know how to make us swoon or what?! Ryan Gosling was spotted rockin’ an extremely dapper suit on the set of Gangster Squad in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, November 29th, 2011.

The crime drama tells the story of ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) who runs the show, reaping the ill-gotten gains from drugs, guns, prostitutes and—if he has his way—every wire bet placed west of Chicago.

He does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It’s enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop…except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen’s world apart.

I strongly suggest Mr. Gosling adds hats to his daily rotation in real life. Doesn’t he look incredible?

Super….swoon.

For those of you who haven’t seen the first teaser poster for the film, slated to be released on October 17th, 2012, check it out below.

Ryan Gosling “too cool” on late night talk shows?

Ryan Gosling stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night to chat about his childhood days, being “too cool” and his love for motorcycles all while promoting just one of his latest flicks, The Ides of March.

During the effortlessly cool interview by Gosling, he shared a story about a meeting he recently had with Lisa Shield, a friend of his who works for his agent that is in charge of recording his late night appearances.

“She told me this last night, she says I’m trying too hard on talk shows. She said ‘You’re trying too hard to be cool.’ I said ‘I’m going on Jay Leno tomorrow, what should I do?’ She said, ‘I don’t know, just don’t talk. Just sit there and don’t talk.’”

Hmmm….not sure where she’s coming from on this advice, but this is one handsome fella that never has to try hard. Wait, make that “TRY” at all.

Jay also asked Ryan about their common love for motorcycles. After Gosling saw a man get into an accident on a bike and blood gushing from his head as a kid, he knew he just had to one!

When asked if he had always wanted to be an actor, the 34-year-old spoke about a time when he was a kid and how Rambo: First Blood put a “spell” on him giving him the illusion that he was Rambo causing him to bring steak knifes to school and throw them at kids during recess. While no one got hurt, Ryan was suspended from school and banned from watching all action movies by his parents.

“I could only watch bible movies and national geographic movies. So, next week I hit a kid in the neck with a blowgun. That’s not true, it’s a joke.”

Can you say method acting? Already dedicated at such a young age!

Catch Ryan in Drive, which is currently in theaters, and The Ides of March on October 7.

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone share a smooch!

That Emma Stone has such a tough life! She got to smooch British hunk Andrew Garfield (both on and off screen!) on the set of The Amazing Spiderman earlier this year and now she was spotted locking lips with Ryan Gosling?! I need to come back as a breathtaking actress in my next life….

Emma and Ryan were shooting scenes of their new film The Gangster Squad in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, September 20th, 2011. There was also an adorable English Bulldog who was tired of girls like Stone getting all the action, so she stole a kiss from Gosling in between scenes.

Aside from all the lovin’ going on, I’m absolutely loving all the period costumes! The movie is a chronicle of the LAPD’s fight to keep East Coast Mafia types out of Los Angeles in the 1940′s and 50′s.

Ryan Gosling in new ‘Drive’ poster

The latest poster for Drive hit the web today with leading man, Ryan Gosling. The film is centered center around a Hollywood stunt man (Gosling) who moonlights as a wheelman, discovers that a contact has been put on him after a heist gone wrong.

Gosling once again looks mighty beautiful in this role—and basically any character he portrays, but watching him speed around in a set of hot wheels seems pretty sweet.

The action flick which also stars Carey Mulligan alongside Mad Men Christina Hendricks and Breaking Bad Bryan Cranston, held its world premiere back in May at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

Drive hits theaters on September 16.

‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ NYC Premiere

The highly anticipated comedy flick, Crazy, Stupid, Love made its NYC premiere last night at the Ziegfield Theater. The A-list cast including handsome fellas Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling along side the very beautiful Emma Stone, Julianne Moore and Marisa Tomei all in attendance. Steve was accompanied by his wife, Nancy, while Julianne brought her son.

Many are now wondering if the undeniable chemistry onscreen between Emma and Ryan has transcended into real life love. The duo appeared very cutesy with each other on the red carpet, Emma even commenting to E! News on Ryan’s “dapper” appearance.

Well if these onscreen lovers are really dating, I’ll be first to high five to this couple!
