He may play the studly airhead Jason Stackhouse on True Blood, but Ryan Kwanten is much different in real life. The native Australian has returned to Oz courtesy of Telstra, to help launch their new T-box home entertainment system.
His first stop took him to Ronald McDonald House in Randwick on Monday, July 5th, 2010 in Sydney, Australia where he donated a set-top box to the families of seriously ill children living at the hospital.

Our favorite VILF Alexander Skarsgard was joined by his castmates Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin for some posey pictures at the HBO’s “True Blood” Season 3 premiere held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome on June 8, 2010 in Hollywood, California.
Also on hand for the funtivities were Ryan Kwanten, Jim Parrack, Rutina Wesley, Todd Lowe, Kristin Bauer, Carrie Preston, Deborah Ann Woll, Jim Parrack, Nelsan Ellis, Sam Trammell, Bill Paxton, and new additions James Frain and Joe Manganiello. For my fellow True Blood fans who are suffering during these long months without their favorite show I bring you this very special post. It includes most of the breathtaking cast who attended the Los Angeles premiere of The Pacific on February 24, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
The Pacific is a 2010 ten-part television World War II miniseries, produced by HBO, Seven Network Australia and DreamWorks, which will premiere for us regular folks on March 14, 2010.
It is similar, although unrelated, to Band of Brothers which focused on the United States Army’s involvement in the European Theater of Operations. The new series will be about United States Marine Corps’s actions in the Pacific Theater of Operations.
Included in the pictures is my man Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Deborah Ann Woll, and Michelle Forbes.

Some of Hollywood’s most fashionable folks came out to attend an equally fabulous party. One of the sharpest looking men in the room was True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten! He attended the Calvin Klein Collection & Los Angeles Nomadic Division Event In Support Of L.A. Arts month and ALAC on January 28, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
I must admit, after seeing Ryan in his birthday suit I didn’t think he could look so damn good while wearing clothes. I’m not too worried though with all the news about the nudity we can expect during the vampire dramas new season.
