On the heels of the announcement that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds secretly married over the weekend, comes the October issue of Allure Magazine featuring the new bride on the cover! I have no idea how this fabulous couple were able to keep such a huge story so secret but I am elated that such a pair was able to marry when and how they wanted.
The beautiful Blake was photographed by film director and fashion photographer Carter Smith for the mag where she posed with an adorable baby goat while in a tulle dress by Marchesa, snapped her niece and nephew in a field wearing a sweater by Balmain, briefs by Michael Kors, and boots by Le Chameau as well as rocking a silk georgette dress by Gucci for the stunning cover.
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
Why she is so private:
“I’m a very shy person,” Lively says. “I can be outgoing, but I’m also very private.”
The large family she hopes to have one day:
“I’ve always wanted a big family,” she said. “Oh, I’d love 30 [children] if I could.”
Her diet and exercise routine:
“I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I’d rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South.”
On the end of Gossip Girl:
“I’ve worked on a lot of characters in the past five years, but I haven’t had time to work on my own character. That’s something that I’m really excited to do. I thought, I can’t wait for Gossip Girl to be done because there are so many movies I want to do! But right now, I’m so peaceful. I’ve never been happier in my life.”
