The wait is about to be over!
Epic Records has announced the release of Soldier of Love, the highly anticipated new body of work from Sade.
The Grammy Award Winning Group recorded this new album in England alongside their longtime collaborator Mike Pela. This is Sade’s first official studio album since the multi-platinum release of Lovers Rock in 2000.
Solder of Love will be released worldwide on February 8, 2010
Wow, I haven’t heard anything about Sade in ages! I’m so happy to hear that she is in the studio with her band and working on some new music. The last album we got was Lovers Rock in 2000.
According to Billboard, Sony confirms they are in the studio and hope to put the album out by the end of the year.
“She is in the studio and the album will come when it is ready,” a source at Sony tells Billboard. “You don’t wait for years for one and then rush it.”
