Salma Hayek and Laeticia Hallyday team up for Unicef in Paris

Known for her fabulous fashion sense, Salma Hayek didn’t disappoint! The Mexican beauty attended the “Frimousses Des Createurs” doll sale for Unicef auction held at the L’Hotel des Ventes Drouot Montaige in Paris, France on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011. Hayek was joined by husband Henri Francois Pinault, Johnny Hallyday and Laeticia Hallyday.

Both Salma and Laeticia opted for mostly black ensembles and they looked equally stunning.

This was the 9th year in a row where more than 60 fashion designers (including Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, Chloe, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Givency amongst others), artists and jewelers who have mobilized to the children of Darfur by making lavish dolls. Thanks to the talent and sensitivity of these great artists and with the generosity and loyalty of collectors, hundreds of thousands of children have been vaccinated and saved. Thanks to the childhood immunization, the lives of 2.5 million children are saved each year.

Salma Hayek and CVS honored with beauty award for Nuance Salma Hayek!

She has been honored by Time Magazine, the Producers Guild of America, Glamour Magazine and has received countless nominations throughout her career as an actress. But today, Salma Hayek can count herself the recipient of a beauty accolade for her collaboration with CVS!

The duo were honored with the “Launch of the Year: Mass” Award at the 2011 Beauty Inc Awards breakfast held at The Four Seasons restaurant this morning. The award was presented by Beauty Inc, a Women’s Wear Daily special-issue magazine, for the introduction of the exclusive beauty collection, Nuance Salma Hayek.

I sampled the ‘Dusty Rose’ lipstick when the line launched in August and it quickly became my go-to berry lipstick! I wore it when I had the pleasure to interview Salma during the “Puss in Boots” promotional kick-off in South Florida and she mentioned the color was fantastic on me!

Nuance Salma Hayek contains more than 100 products spanning four categories — skincare, cosmetics, haircare, and body — and prices range from $2.99 to $25.00. Salma Hayek is a fashionable feline in London

Who says you need to wear a sexy dress in order to heat up a red carpet? Latina beauty Salma Hayek rocked a male-inspired suit and hat to the Puss in Boots 3D UK Premiere at the Empire Leicester Square in London,England on Thursday, November 24th, 2011. Joining her for some feline fun was co-star Antonio Banderas.

As much as I love the androgynous look, I love how this 45-year-old beauty used a feminine scarf in a beautiful shade of green to off-set the testosterone!

What helped make this outfit work perfectly was the fact that the pieces are fitted to her shape. This helps bring heaps of femininity to a traditionally male ensemble.

With colder weather coming in stronger to many parts of the world, this is a great option for upcoming holiday parties and events.

Salma Hayek, Sofia Vergara and Eva Mendes: 3 stylish chicas take on Europe

I feel bad for the folks in Europe who had no warning that these three Latina bombshells would hit their shores at the same time! Salma Hayek, Sofia Vergara, and Eva Mendes were all spotted across the continent on Monday, November 21st, 2011.

Mexican beauty Salma Hayek was photographed as she departed from the Hotel George V in Paris, France while en route to a press conference in support of her latest film, Puss in Boots. She looked beautiful in a matching skirt and blouse ensemble with a black camisole underneath.

Sofia Vergara smiled pretty for photographers upon her arrival at ITV studios in London, England this morning. She is also promoting a new animated movie, Happy Feet Two.

Even though temperatures are a bit chilly across the pond, this Colombian beauty was rocking a dress, stockings, and sky high heels!

Eva Mendes kept a much lower profile hiding behind an umbrella on the set of her latest movie, Leos Carax’s Holly Motors, at Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France. Though details about her character are non-existant, we do know the film tells the story of a man who travels between different versions of his life, which see him cast as a murderer, beggar, CEO, monstrous creature and family man.

Mendes, along with pop singer Kylie Minogue, will star as people from his past.

Salma Hayek proud to let daughter Valentina see her in new role

Salma Hayek continued her promotions for her latest project Puss in Boots in The Big Apple this evening. After being spotted by photographers as she made her arrival at The Ed Sullivan Theatre for a special appearance at The Late Show with David Letterman, the Mexican beauty attended a New York screening of the DreamWorks animated film held at The Hearst Tower.

When the mommy-of-one made a stop in Miami to kick-off the promotional tour aboard Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas last week, she told us how proud her daughter Valentina is of her new role as Kitty Softpaws in the Shrek spin-off.

“I am so proud for her to see it,” Salma told us on the red carpet. “She saw it and she loves it!”

She was so sweet she complemented me on my lipstick and was not at all surprised when I told her it was Dusty Rose from the Nuance by Salma Hayek line from CVS! She said the color worked great on me!!

Talk about best day ever….

I briefly asked her co-star Antonio Banderas about the Sony Pictures Zorro prequel based on Isabelle Allende’s book that is currently in the works, because we’d love to see this sexy Spaniard back in the role no matter how small! Sadly told me he is not interested in participating in this film.

Make sure to run to theaters to see this fun family film when it hits theaters on October 28th.

Salma Hayek: ‘I like having financial independence’

Actress Salma Hayek graced the cover of the November issue of Redbook looking absolutely stunning in fitted purple dress!The Puss In Boots star discussed how despite being married to Louis Vuitton owner (not to mention billionaire) Francois-Henri Pinault, she still works to have her own independence.

“I work hard, I make my own living and I love it. I like having financial independence. I don’t ever want to have to depend on anyone completely. But when I have troubles sometimes, its nice to have someone there to help.”

Salma is not only a killer actress, but she is also one hot mama to her 4-year-old daughter Valentina! The 44-year-old shared some great advice all women (mother or not) should follow.

“I was having dinner with my friend Demi (Moore) and she said, ‘Oh, my God! Every time I see you, you are so put together!’ And I told her it’s a lot easier to grab a fabulous little dress than to put together a whole casual outfit with jeans, a top, right jacket and great shoes. You slip on a dress and you can’t go wrong.”

All in all, Salma is not a force to be reckoned with! This Latina loves to play dress-up for her hubby but don’t get her confused for any doll!

“Like I said, I’m still a Mexican. I like to play fashion with him, but I’m nobody’s Barbie.”

This spicy chicka could rule the world with this motto.

Salma Hayek and Rachel Zoe support Stella McCartney during Paris Fashion Week

With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, you never know which celebrities will end up front row at the various shows. But when you drop a name like Stella McCartney, you can expect some of the hottest names to be in attendance!

Salma Hayek was spotted front row alongside husband Francois-Henri Pinault at Stella McCartney’s Ready to Wear Spring / Summer 2012 show on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 as were Rachel Zoe and hubby Rodger Berman. The pair that received the most attention were Paul McCartney and his soon-to-be bride Nancy Shevell who were so excited they high-fived each other during the show and even hopped to their feet to cheer!

Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour, fashion photographer Mario Testino, and former model Twiggy were also spotted admiring the sexy collection.

After the show, Stella was photographed departing with husband Alasdhair Willis and their two children Bailey and Miller.
