I’m so happy to see Salma Hayek so happy with her new hubby Francois! Look at these pictures of the newleds embracing upon Salma’s arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris today. The couple quietly married during a ceremony in Paris on Valentine’s Day.
The actress is currently ironing out details to create her own line of affordable make-up.
“I shouldn’t be talking about this. I am trying to develop a line with a drugstore. I have been doing research for two or three years. My approach is how we can get the essence of the really expensive [products] for everyone.”
I am excited about Salma’s new venture. Sometimes its tough for us tan, Hispanic girls to find the right make-up shades at our local drugstores. I can’t complain though, through the years it has slowly gotten better.
I just wish the research didn’t take 2-3 years to complete!

I knew some celebrity was going to tie the knot over Valentine’s Day weekend but I would never have guessed it was Salma Hayek!
Mega babe Salma Hayek married French Billionaire/Kevin Spacey look-alike Francois-Henri Pinault were married on Saturday – St. Valentine’s Day – in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris, according to the publication Le Point, which is owned by the Pinault family.
The duo had called of their engagement in July 2008 but seemed to rekindle their relationship during a trip to Paris.
Salma and Henri have a beautiful little girl, Valentina Paloma Pinault who was born in September 2007.
Congrats to the happy couple!
Because we didn’t already think that Salma Hayek was fabulous enough, she goes and feeds a hungry child in Africa and makes us love her more. I do not understand why there is so much controversy over this beautiful gesture that Salma did while in Sierra Leon. People will always be critics and think she is doing such a thing for the press but I feel she was being truly genuine.
Sierra Leone has the highest infant mortality rate in the world, in part fueled by malnutrition. Physicians there told Hayek they would like to see mothers breastfeed for a full two years. But due to tradition that prohibits men from having sexual intercourse with women while they are lactating forces new mothers to stop breastfeeding their infants within the first few months after birth.
Salma tells “Nightline” co-anchor Cynthia McFadden that she thought her daughter wouldn’t mind sharing her milk.
“Am I being disloyal to my child by giving her milk away?” Hayek said. “I actually think my baby would be very proud to share her milk. And when she grows up I’m going to make sure she continues to be a generous, caring person.”
Hayek confesses she did not know what to expect from the trip.
“I was just open to this experience and it’s been quite an amazing one,” she said.
Salma Hayek visited Conan O’Brien yesterday. I never realized that Salma is so funny! She chats about being half lesbian, Octopussy, how her dog saved her life, the sexy outfit she wore for German television, and her role on 30 Rock.

Mexicana caliente Salma Hayek visited the “Late Show with David Letterman” last night. In true Letterman fashion he drools and flirts over all the hot women who cross his stage!
She chats about becoming a mom to Valentina Paloma, her French baby daddy Francois Penault, her guest role on 30 Rock that has been extended from one episode to six, and all the animals she has on her farm.
I don’t think David knows that Salma and Francois are not engaged anymore. They are spotted together frequently so they may still be hooking up but I don’t think their relationship will go beyond that.
I’m so glad that 30 Rock is doing so awesome! I love Tina Fey and she has done an awesome job this year! So far I have loved all the cameo’s on the show. The next one coming up is Salma Hayek’s!
Salma will play a nurse to Jack Donaghy’s mother. She can be see on January 8th on NBC.
