Super Bowl Trailers: ‘The Avengers’ and ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’

These are the moments when my inner fangirl jumps out and just wants to run around the street and knock everyones door and say, “Have you seen the new trailer for The Avengers?” For so long I’ve loved Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man and now Chris Hemsworth as Thor and lest we forget, Chris Evans as Captain America— and NOW they are all together in one film?!

They better clear the IMAX theater and let me watch on my own, I will probably cheer throughout the entire film. #notlying

Let me take a second to catch my breath…..

Another trailer that aired during tonights Super Bowl extravaganza was the one for G.I. Joe: Retaliation. After watching the first G.I. Joe I was sure that I would NEVER want to see another one but who can say no to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Channing Tatum?

I am constantly reminded of how the first one didn’t look so bad on during the trailers so I will try not to get too excited.

Scarlett Johansson goes brunette in Glasgow for new film

I’m not sure if she is wearing a wig or not, but you can’t help but hate on someone like Scarlett Johansson who can pull off nearly any hair color and look amazing! The new brunette look is for ScarJo’s new film, Under the Skin which is currently shooting in Glasgow, Scotland.

In these images shot earlier today (October 24th), the 26-year-old was spotted wearing a pair of acid wash jeans, ratty fur coat, and matching high-heeled booties.

The science fiction drama is an adaptation of Michael Faber‘s novel and tells the story of an alien woman who comes to Earth with her people to abduct hitchhikers and take them back to their planet. You see…. where she is from, human meat is a delicacy!

Under the Skin is being directed by Jonathan Glazer.

Scarlett Johansson gearing up to battle zombies as Elizabeth Bennett?

Robert Downey Jr and Iron Man get a leg up

Well, Iron Man gets a leg up at least. Robert Downey Jr. was spotted leaving Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie‘s home in London this morning. Exiting with the star was an unknown man who happens to have a large Iron Man tattoo on his left calf. And some cool striped socks. Production on the as yet untitled Sherlock Holmes Sequel is said to start filming this fall. So, odds are, the visit was in relation to that.

Samuel L Jackson and Robert Downey Jr Announce Full Avengers Cast

Today was a big day at Comic-Con. One of the highly anticipated events was the announcment of the complete cast for upcoming superhero flick The Avengers. During the Marvel Panel, Samuel L Jackson, Nick Fury, came out, bringing with him Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans at Capital America, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson and… Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark. Robert then proceeded to introduce the rest of the cast, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and the much debated Hulk? Mark Ruffalo!

Scarlett Johansson is Gravitating Toward Robert Downey Jr

Scarlett Johansson may in fact be teaming up with her Iron Man 2 co-star, Robert Downey Jr, for a new sci-fi thriller. Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity was said to be starting Robert Downey Jr and Angelina Jolie, but Angie has had to back out of the filming and Scarlett is taking her place. The film is set in space and follows the journey of two astronauts (Downey & Johansson) trying to make it back home to Earth after debris from a Russian satellite destroyed their ship, with coworkers still inside.
