Shia LaBeouf and Marilyn Manson may have had some odd confrontation at a recent event, but it looks like the two have since made amends. The pair were spotted at a promotional gig for his latest album “Born Villain” at Hennessey + Ingalls bookstore in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, September 1st, 2011.

The unlikely pair struck up a friendship after meeting at a rock concert which led to Manson hiring the Transformers star to direct his latest video, “Born Villain.”

“Marilyn Manson to me is an indelible figure,” LaBeouf told MTV News, speaking exclusively about the collaboration for the first time. “He’s a big deal to me, and in my childhood, I don’t know of a scarier figure in art. He, in my teenage years, was the scariest thing in the world, so part of me has always been intrigued.”

Who knew there was a bromance brewing up between Shia and Marilyn? Not me, but LaBeouf asserts its the real deal.

“I love Marilyn,” LaBeouf said. “Manson is like a brother to me now. He’s a real sweet dude, a real close friend.”

Can’t wait to see this collaboration, though I hear it is quite graphic and something you would never expect to see from Shia!

LaBeouf is gearing up for a trip to our neighbors in the north to begin work on the Robert Redford film, The Company You Keep. The political action thriller is based on the novel by Neil Gordon and stars Redford as a former Weather Underground militant, wanted by the FBI, whose identity is exposed by a young reporter, played by LaBeouf.

Filming is set to begin in Vancouver in September.

It’s the perfect time to feature Shia on the cover, he is currently on a worldwide promotional trip pimping out his latest film Transformers: Dark of the Moon alongside his co-stars Patrick Dempsey, Tyrese Gibson, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

One of the most interesting confessions is his confirmation of a fling with Megan Fox!!

Asked if he hooked up with Megan Fox, LaBeouf nods affirmatively. “Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” he explains. “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.” When I inquire about Fox’s status at the time with her longtime boyfriend, Brian Austin Green, LaBeouf replies, “I don’t know, man. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know . . .”—repeating the phrase exactly 12 times in various intonations, as if trying to get it just right. Finally, he says, “It was what it was.”

He also talked about some of his other famous hook-ups:

On his one date with Hillary Duff: “probably the worst date either of us have ever had”

On “philandering around” with former co-star Isabel Lucas: “It was sort of disastrous,” LaBeouf says. “Neither one of us, I think, were in love. Just sort of experimenting or whatever.”

On Carey Mulligan: “I still love her,” he says. “I think she’s a fu**ing awesome person and an incredible actress. We’re still pals. I wouldn’t take any of it back, and I don’t think she would either. It just ran its course.”

With promotions of Transformers Dark of the Moon in full motion, Shia LaBeouf is making sure he spends quality time with girlfriend Karolyn Pho. The pair were photographed during a pit stop at a local Auto Body Shop in Sherman Oaks, California on Monday, June 20th, 2011.

The twenty five year old star who looks to be growing a beard, recently opened up to GQ Magazine about the drama that went down with Megan Fox that caused her firing from the franchise.

“Criticism is one thing,” LaBeouf said of Fox. “Then there’s public name-calling, which turns into high school bashing. Which you can’t do. She started [smack]-talking our captain.”

Fox was replaced by Victoria’s Secret supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley after two movies.

With as much as Shia LaBeouf hates being followed by the paparazzi, after all this bar fight drama going on has put the spotlight back on him. The actor stopped for a juice at Robeks juice in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011 before heading to the pumps to refuel his truck.
