Leonardo DiCaprio takes over Japan

Am I the only one that remembers when Leonardo DiCaprio was on the 80′s/90′s television show Growing Pains? It’s amazing how far he has come since those days!

Now he’s all grown up and looking all kinds of yummy.

He was photographed promoting his latest movie Shutter Island during a press conference on March 11, 2010 in Tokyo, Japan. So far the Martin Scorcese dramatic thriller has raked in $95,750,005 in the United States.

Leonardo DiCaprio promotes Shutter Island in Rome

Promotions for the latest Martin Scorsese/Leonardo DiCaprio collaboration has begun by way of Italy. Both were on hand this morning at the Shutter Island photocall at Hassler Hotel on February 8, 2010 in Rome.

The film is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Dennis Lehane.

It’s 1954, and up-and-coming U.S. marshal Teddy Daniels is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient from Boston’s Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital. He’s been pushing for an assignment on the island for personal reasons, but before long he wonders whether he hasn’t been brought there as part of a twisted plot by hospital doctors whose radical treatments range from unethical to illegal to downright sinister.
