Colin Firth premieres “The King’s Speech” in London

It was a grand night in London as the stars of the highly anticipated film, “The King’s Speech” made their arrival. Heading up the line was our beloved Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, and Geoffrey Rush at the American Express Gala Screening of ‘The King’s Speech’ during the 54th BFI London Film Festival at the Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday, October 21st, 2010 in London, England.

Jake Gyllenhaal suits up for the Prince of Persia

Hubba hubba! One of America’s most eligible bachelors, Jake Gyllenhaal, made his way down the red carpet at the ‘Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time’ world premiere at the Vue Westfield on May 9, 2010 in London, England. He was joined by his equally breathtaking co-star Gemma Arterton who appeared in a stunning Valentino gown.

Rounding up the group were Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Mike Newell and Sir Ben Kingsley who also stars in the video game-turned-movie.

A Single Man premieres in London

Tom Ford attended the premiere of his directorial debut entitled A Single Man during The Times BFI London Film Festival at Vue West End in London this evening.

This drama revolves around George (Firth) an English professor who, after the sudden death of his partner tries to go about his typical day in Los Angeles.

At the premiere were Ben Kingsley, Livia Giuggioli and co-stars Matthew Goode, Nicholas Hoult.

Josh Hartnett needs a nurse! Any volunteers?

The actor’s publicist, Susan Patricola, said he went to the hospital, by ambulance, early on Monday after “a flare-up of a gastrointestinal problem that plagued him while he was starring in the west end of London during the production of Rain Man last year.”

The 30-year-old Black Hawk Down star remains under observation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, but is resting comfortably, according to Ms Patricola.
