My cheeks are hurting from the huge smile I have on my face right now! The Golden Girls star confirmed the news to People Magazine during the 18th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar party held at Pacific Design Center on March 7, 2010 in West Hollywood, California.
When asked by PEOPLE, “Are you doing Saturday Night Live,” she answered, “Yes,” even if she remains perplexed by the groundswell of support.
“I don’t know why or how,” she says, “but it’s been wonderful.”
White didn’t offer any details about the SNL gig, and it remains unclear when she will appear – or what it will entail.
This whole thing started because a devoted fan opened a facebook fan page to petition the folks over at NBC to put our favorite lady on the comedy sketch show.
I can’t wait to see it!
Following in the footsteps of his “good friend” Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner will be coming to your television on Saturday, December 12th. Taylor has been tapped to host NBC’s Saturday Night Live with musical guest Bon Jovi in just three weeks.
Team Edward Twihards have been chomping at the bit to get Robert Pattinson on SNL. They’ve even gone so far as to create an online petition to get him the hosting spot! Jacob might not get the girl… But he gets to host SNL first! Sorry Team Edward, maybe next time.

SNL’s newest cast member Jenny Slate will not be losing her new job. The comedian dropped the “F” bomb on live television during the premiere of the comedy sketch show.
During a biker sketch she said the following:
“You frickin’ just threw an ashtray full of butts at my head. You know what, you stood up for yourself and I fucking love you for that.”
Though rumors emerged that the newbie would definitely be fired for such an infraction, NBC said this is not so.
NBC spokesperson Sharon Pannozzo said: “[There is] no truth to firing conjecture. She will not be fired.”
Are you guys kidding me? Slate will probably be given a promotion! Look at all the press she’s scored for the show. Here I thought Megan Fox was going to give us something to talk about!
After his role as Spock in this years blockbuster Star Trek film, there are few people who don’t know Zachary Quinto. He even has his own “Army” that is dedicated to all things Quinto!
The SArmy had this awesome idea that I think us fellow Quinto fans need to support. Imagine seeing ZQ host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live?!

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson visited on Regis & Kelly this morning to promote his upcoming role in the Disney remake of, Race to Witch Mountain. Do you guys catch him on Saturday Night Live? The skit he did of Rock Obama was hilarious!!
They discuss whether or not he prefers the name Dwayne or the Rock, his stint on SNL, what the women in his life call him, his daughter and he get his fine azz up and does a Hawaiian dance. Oh what a way to wake up in the morning!
I would have to assume that Andy Samberg’s chiropractor bills must astronomical from carrying Saturday Night Live on his back, although it’s no surprise to me he’s already branched out from SNL (Hot Rod) and is going to do so once again very shortly.
