Sons of Anarchy: The hands of time keep ticking

Ooh so much drama is ahead next week on Sons of Anarchy, but before we begin speculating about future events, let’s have a chat about what went down last night.

As Clay (Ron Perlman) continues to implode, those around him are finally “getting” to know just how toxic he really is. No one in this world really matters to Clay more than himself, and its about time Gemma (Katey Sagal) realizes this. Too bad it took her getting a beat down and her future daughter-in-law nearly losing his life in order for her to see this side of him.

Speaking of Tara, that poor woman has probably lost the use of her hand. As a doctor, this basically means the end of your career. I know her man Jax (Charlie Hunnam) is hot and all but I’m not sure she was thinking clearly when she decided to hook-up with this bad boy.

The scene where Jax, Tara, and the boys are driving up to Oregon singing “This Old Man” was a little surreal. That type of “family” will never be possible for them. Jax is an outlaw and his true calling is as the lead of the Sons of Anarchy. Sadly this continues to confirm to me that Tara must die sooner or later.

Did anyone else feel like murdering Clay with their own hands during that hospital scene when Gemma tells him no one knows who tried to abduct Tara? UGH! How could anyone be so bold as to lie in the face of those closest to him?

He does it again when he promises the SAMCRO boys he will meet up with Romeo (Danny Trejo) to find out who is behind all this! I can’t wait until his time is up, it’s only a matter of WHO will get the honor.

My bet continues to be on either Jax or Opie (Ryan Hurst). Gemma didn’t have the balls to shoot him properly in this episode so she is off my list of potential Clay killers.

In the preview below, we see Opie having a heated conversation with Unser (Dayton Callie)–one of the only people on the planet who knows Piney (William Lucking) was murdered by Clay. And with all the love the former police chief has for Mrs. Morrow, I bet he spills the beans to Opie who in turn will attempt to avenge the death of both his father and his wife.

But when Jax finds out who is behind all this drama causing him pain, you best believe he will fighting to be the one to end it all. There is only one thing we know for sure….

“He’s gonna die by the hand of a Son” Gemma

Not to get off topic here but did anyone else notice Jax’s baby momma Wendy (Drea de Matteo) is back? Is she going to attempt to regain custody of her kid? What is her connection to Tara?

Tune in to an all new 90 minute episode of Sons of Anarchy, next Tuesday night at 10 pm. Only on FX!

Sons of Anarchy: Is Clay as good as dead?

Man oh man…it has taken me longer to write this post than any other on Sons of Anarchy in the past! What’s going on in Charming is absolute insanity and its going to get worse before it gets any better. No I am not shocked that Piney (William Lucking) died nor that it happened at the hands of Clay (Ron Perlman). It was only a matter of time before either his health worsened or a gun shot would take his life.

The reaper was waiting.

I am mostly shocked at how unhinged Clay has become, or maybe its more that we recently discovered that he has always been this way. He has verbally accepted the fact that he murdered John Teller and now he is also to blame for putting a bullet into one of the last remaining members of the first nine. Does he have any limits?

The point here is that Clay is starting to get sloppy. There are at least 3 people who can pin Piney’s death on him without even a flinch. Gemma (Katey Sagal) will always have her mans back it seems but there is no way that Unser (Dayton Callie) and Tara (Maggie Siff) will be fooled.

All along I’ve said that it has to be Jax (Charlie Hunnam) to end it all for his evil step-father but I’m starting to see a set-up for Opie (Ryan Hurst) to finally get his revenge for the murder of his beloved wife Donna and now his father. The current VP can keep the seat warm for his best bud because I feel like he will be occupying it soon, but only after Jax himself leads the Sons into a whole new era.

But at what cost?

Jax further confirmed to Piney in a very dramatic scene at his cabin that he is more worried about the future of his family than that of the club. He has every intention of getting out and living a “normal” life with Tara and the boys.

But then we would have no show.

As much as I try to find ways for Tara to survive this season, I just don’t see it happening. The only way our boy Jax will take his true place at the head of the table will be after his wife is dead and gone. His sons will be raised by their grandmother, since she too will be a widow.

But I doubt it will be for very long where Gemma is concerned. Anyone else see the constant sparks between her and Tig (Kim Coates)? Yeah we saw him laying all sexy on that pool table before escorting the current Mrs. Murrow home for the night.

Lest we forget their “almost hook-up” in season two!

With only 5 more episodes to go, its really anyones guess what will happen to these bad boy bikers. But you can bet we ain’t seen the last drop of blood of the season.

Check out the preview below for next weeks episode of Sons of Anarchy, which airs Tuesday nights only on FX.

Sons of Anarchy: Will Clay pay for his dirty deeds?

Ooh what a dirty web you’ve weaved throughout the years Clay Morrow (played by Ron Perlman)! First you take down Jax’s (Charlie Hunnam) father, John teller, all those years ago (while you were bangin his ol’ lady Gemma [Katey Sagal] at the same time!) and now your trying to get your soon-to-be daughter-in-law killed?! We have come to understand just how far you will go to make sure you always remain on top, and your dirty past WILL rear its ugly head in the end and cost you your life!

I can picture it now: Jax getting his vengeance against the man who not only murdered his father and tried to end the life of the mother of his children but also the man who pretended to love him AS a father, in the most epic season finale in Sons of Anarchy history!

Yes I’m using a lot of exclamation points because I am damn excited about the chaos taking place in Charming. I’m not sure yet whether Clay set up this whole Tara beef thing with Romeo (guest star Danny Trejo) as a way to divert the attention to someone else so THEY would pay for her death (or attempt thereof), or because he genuinely wants him to murder her?!

Could he be that cold and heartless? Absolutely. He has a huge secret and he knows she can expose him and end his career and possibly his life. If his boys found out what he did, I know quite a few would have him staring into the end of a loaded weapon in no seconds flat.

Piney (William Lucking) is getting close to uncovering the truth and finally unmasking Clay to SAMCRO as the villain he truly is, but will he die in the process as well? Poor Opie (Ryan Hurst) is the real loser here because he’s already suffered the loss of his wife Donna thanks to Clay and Tig (Kim Coates), so I can’t imagine he would be too happy with el Presidente if he ended his fathers life as well.

Former Police Chief Unser (Dayton Callie) is also hot on his trail and even though we saw him put that note on Tara’s (Maggie Siff) car, I think he is trying to warn her not harm her.

In this new trailer for next weeks exciting new episode, we find out that Unser’s note has been found and everyone suspects the Cartel. Jax, in his stupidity, thinks the club and its members are under the protection of Clay but Tara is quick to point out that he cannot be trusted.

Will this lead her to reveal the letters that could potentially change the entire dynamic of the club? Tune into the next episode of Sons of Anarchy, Tuesday nights on FX to find out!

PS. Juice (Theo Rossi) is getting himself into some DEEP doo doo. I hope he is planning a police double-cross because Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) is on to him and nothing nice will come of his deceptions.

Haven’t we buried enough SAMCRO members? RIP Miles.

“Sons of Anarchy” star Maggie Siff smiles in California

Are things on Sons of Anarchy getting crazy or what?! With all of Clay’s (Ron Perlman) secrets starting to unravel and the future of the club hanging in the balance, Tara holds all the power in a stack of old letters.

Clay IS getting desperate and why shouldn’t he? He murdered John Teller, one of SAMCRO’s founding members all while shackin’ up with his ol’ lady Gemma (Katey Sagal). If Jax (Charlie Hunnam) finds out about all this, there is no doubt he will kill Clay and make him pay for the death of his father.

We know that death is imminent for one character but who could it be? All eyes are on remaining co-founder Piermont “Piney” Winston who knows Clay was behind John’s death and has threatened to tell the club about the deceit if he doesn’t stop using them to mule drugs for the Cartel.

I feel the worst for Opie (Ryan Hurst) who has already lost his beloved wife Donna (Sprague Grayden) on Clay’s orders and now maybe his father as well?

Other suspects are Bobby (Mark Boone Jr) who has made no secret of his disagreement of the drug running, Juice (Theo Rossi) who caused the drug supply to run low last episode, and the aforementioned Tara who opened Piney’s eyes to the deceit and could very well tell her fiance Jax at any moment.

At least actress Maggie Siff, who plays Dr. Tara Knowles on the FX hit drama, looks happy in real life! She was spotted by photographers during a check up at a doctors office in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday, October 4th, 2011.

Season 4 of Sons of Anarchy is a “must watch” this fall! Tune in Tuesday nights at 10pm only on FX.

‘Sons of Anarchy’ premiere sneak peek available now!

The premiere of season four of Sons of Anarchy is only days away and the fine folks over at FX decided to give us a treat to get us excited over the long Labor Day weekend!

Well…more like six presents!

I have six newly released videos including a special Sneak Peek that shows us how the premiere kicks off. I got so emotional seeing my SAMCRO boys finally leaving jail and on their way back to Charming to claim their city.

The other videos are fantastic to say the very least. One features Charlie Hunnam discussing the decision to chop of Jax’s hair during their stint in the clink.

Other fun extras include a wardrobe video showing you all the various outfits used during shooting, make-up artist Tracey Anderson tells us about the magic behind creating bullet wounds, bruises, and black eyes, bike mechanic John Landon tells us how he maintains and prepares the motorcycles for each character, and we also get a peek into production design.

Enjoy fellow fans and don’t forget to tune into the special 90-minute premiere Tuesday, September 6th at 10PM ET/PT only on FX.

Katey Sagal and Charlie Hunnam premiere ‘Sons of Anarchy’

In this day in age where reality television is all the rage, I’m grateful for shows like Sons of Anarchy that really push the envelope of storytelling every week and keep me absolutely addicted to not just the plot but also the characters.

We are only six days away from heralding the return of the FX drama and the entire cast hooked up last night to help kick-off the season the right way! Creator Kurt Sutter was joined by wife Katey Sagal, hot-boy Charlie Hunnam and his on-screen ol’ lady Maggie Siff, Ron Perlman, and the rest of the SAMCRO boys–Ryan Hurst, Theo Rossi, Tommy Flanagan, William Lucking, Kim Coates and Mark Boone Jr. at FX Network’s “Sons Of Anarchy” Season 4 Premiere on Tuesday, August 30th, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.

Guest star (and Mexican bad-ass!) Danny Trejo was also on-hand for the festivities!

The previews have me sitting on the edge of my seat with hints of inner turmoil and promises of utter bad-assness ahead! I have a feeling that this is not going to be the best season for Clay (Perlman) who is struggling with killer arthritis and the ghost of John Teller and the alleged murder plot hanging over him.

Season four promises to be another wild ride and we are in the bitch seat!

Now if only Kurt Sutter would come back to Twitter!

Tune in to the special 90-minute premiere on Tuesday, September 6th at 10:00 PM ET/PT only on FX.

First Look Video: Sons of Anarchy returns!

Yes September seems really far away but I hope this new video promoting season four of Sons of Anarchy will help time go by a little faster! While it doesn’t tell us too much off the bat, watching scenes of the guys going from behind bars to rejoining society to the tune of Dani California by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in the background sure does have me excited!

The trailer starts off with a bold set of bars representing where the guys have been since the end of last season. We see Gemma (Katey Sagal) carrying her grandson, already a toddler it seems, in her arms. Soon after, Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) is handed his little boy by the proud grandmother who must have been helping out busy mom/doctor Tara (Maggie Siff) while he was locked up in the big house.

Is it just me or does it look like Clay (Ron Perlman) pulls a gun on Tara in the beginning? Could she have confronted him about those letters written by Jax’s deceased father implicating both Clay and Gemma in his death?

An all new season of Sons of Anarchy returns to FX this September.
