Liv Tyler and Naomi Watts join Stella McCartney for store opening in NYC

Stella McCartney has been keeping busy on this side of the pond with two big store openings taking place this week. Last night, Stella herself attended the grand opening of the SoHo store alongside famous friends Liv Tyler, Naomi Watts, Anna Wintour, Elettra Wiedemann, newlyweds Lauren Bush and David Lauren, and The X-Factor judge L.A. Reid.

Guests were able to check out pieces from the Autumn 2012 line as well as a special sneak peek at her pre-autumn/winter 2012-2013 collection.

Over the weekend, the first Stella McCartney store in the Sunshine State opened its doors at Bal Harbour Shops. I will be on-hand on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 for a special event celebrating the opening where they will feature pieces from the Summer 2012 collection.

An art installation by David Batchelor will also be on display.

Watch for pictures and video of the event on Thursday!

For those of you in the New York area, make sure to stop by their newest location at 113 Greene Street in the heart of SoHo. For those of you here in the South Florida area, the Bal Harbour location is open and ready to welcome you at the Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Avenue.

Salma Hayek and Rachel Zoe support Stella McCartney during Paris Fashion Week

With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, you never know which celebrities will end up front row at the various shows. But when you drop a name like Stella McCartney, you can expect some of the hottest names to be in attendance!

Salma Hayek was spotted front row alongside husband Francois-Henri Pinault at Stella McCartney’s Ready to Wear Spring / Summer 2012 show on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 as were Rachel Zoe and hubby Rodger Berman. The pair that received the most attention were Paul McCartney and his soon-to-be bride Nancy Shevell who were so excited they high-fived each other during the show and even hopped to their feet to cheer!

Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour, fashion photographer Mario Testino, and former model Twiggy were also spotted admiring the sexy collection.

After the show, Stella was photographed departing with husband Alasdhair Willis and their two children Bailey and Miller.

High fashion takes over New York!

As I was trying to sort through all the pictures coming from the Costume Institute Gala Benefit, I soon realized it might be better to make one huge post featuring the hot, the bad, and the downright FUG!

The ball is celebrating the opening of the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 3, 2010 in New York City.

Mighty Boosh Help Switch On the Christmas Lights!

Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt of the Mighty Boosh were on hand to help celebrate switching on the Christmas lights at designer Stella McCartney’s London store today.  Noel and Julian dressed in drag as they performed a musical number in the street.

Nice legs, Noel!
