Taylor Lautner in for the Stretch

Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner is working some exercise in while hitting the beaches of Miami earlier today. The under aged stud was photographed at DIRECTV’s 4th Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl on February 6, 2010 located in sunny South Beach.

It seems that all the extra work outs he put in for the Twilight Saga: New Moon has helped him land another major role. Universal Pictures says studio executives have signed the actor to star in the film “Stretch Armstrong.”

“In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power,” Langley offered. “We couldn’t be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch.”

The super hero film is currently set for release in 2012.

Super Bowl parties are taking over Miami

Anywhere you go in and around the South Florida area you are going to bump into parties, concerts, and just overall madness! Everyone and their mothers are in town for the Super Bowl taking place at the Sun Life Stadium tomorrow. (I’m not lying, my friend and her mother came down from Chicago for the festivities!)

Last night three major acts made their way across a stage at Lummus Park on 8th and Ocean Drive during the Pepsi Musica Super Bowl Fan Jam. Nelly Furtado rocked the house (in a really FUGLY outfit but I still love you girl!) along with La Chica Dorada Paulina Rubio, with the show rappin’ up with Mr. 305 himself, Pitbull.

The tickets to the event were free so I can imagine the insanity at the show!

Rihanna sets up on South Beach

People in South Florida aren’t the only ones gearing up for the Super Bowl celebrations that are going on in Miami and Fort Lauderdale this long weekend. Superstar Rihanna was photographed rehearsing for the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam concert series taking place tonight and tomorrow night.

These pictures are kind of funny. You can see RiRi grabbin’ on her stuff in some!!

Multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning superstar Rihanna will perform tracks from her new critically-acclaimed album Rated R and 15-year-old singing sensation Justin Bieber will rock the South Beach crowd with songs from his platinum debut My World in the PEPSI SUPER BOWL FAN JAM concert on Thursday, Feb. 4.

Grammy Award winning global superstar Nelly Furtado, who will perform from her hit album Mi Plan; Grammy and Latin Grammy nominated PAULINA RUBIO, who will showcase songs from her platinum selling album Gran City Pop, and Billboard Latin Music Award winner “Mr. 305″ himself, PITBULL will take the stage on Friday, Feb. 5 for the PEPSI MUSICA SUPER BOWL FAN JAM.

Tonight’s concert is being hosted by Entourage star Kevin Dillon!!!

Good news is, the shows are FREE! Bad news is, you still need tickets and they are on a first come first served basis. Get yours now!
