James Franco premieres 127 Hours in New York City

An adorable, and extremely happy James Franco laughed as he spoke to reporters on the red carpet. It’s a big night for Mr. Franco as he premiered his new film, “127 Hours” at Chelsea Clearview Cinema on Tuessday, November 2nd, 2010 in New York City.

If you have yet to watch the 1987 film “Wall Street” you have four days left! The highly anticipated sequel entitled, “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” has kicked off its world premiere this evening.

Gerard Butler & the Artists for Peace & Justice tour Haiti

It was another busy day for the Artists for Peace and Justice team. The group which includes Gerard Butler, Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon, Ben Stiller, Olivia Wilde, and founder/director Paul Haggis visited a camp for internally displaced persons managed by actor Sean Penn and his Jenkins-Penn Humanitarian Relief Organization in Port-Au Prince, Haiti on Monday, April 12th.

Gerard Butler teams up with Artists for Peace and Justice in Haiti

Some of Hollywood’s biggest names teamed up with the organization Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) to visit Port-Au-Prince, Haiti on Sunday, April 11th. The includes director and APJ founder Paul Haggis, Gerard Butler, Susan Sarandon, Demi Moore, Olivia Wilde, and Ben Stiller.

Stiller recently announced the merger between his Haitian school initiative with APJ to maximize his efforts in the impoverished island nation.

Artists for Peace and Justice encourages peace and social justice and addresses issues of poverty and enfranchisement in communities around the world. The organizations immediate goal is to build schools to serve the poorest areas of Haiti, [Read more...]

Susan Sarandon welcomes visitors back to Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu reopened to tourists on Thursday, with renowned actress Susan Sarandon there to welcome visitors back to the pre-Columbian era Inca site for the first time in more than two months. The ruins were shut down two months ago after heavy rains caused terrible flooding which caused damage to much of the region.

I’m so proud to share these beautiful photos of the land of my ancestors. For those that don’t know this about me, my mother is Peruvian and was actually in Peru for a couple of months and was unable to visit the monument.
