Bale premieres Terminator!

Even though Christian Bale was against starring in Terminator Salvation at first, he took a chance on director McG. He recalls receiving the script flipping through it even though he had already decided he didn’t want to take the role.

“I went, ‘No, I don’t even have to read this,’” Bale says, two years later. “I just thought, the mythology is dead. I mean, I did flick through it, because you can always be surprised. But I wasn’t surprised by what I read in that one.”

But McG was determined to get Christian on board, no matter what he had to do.

Bale recalls, “I had this guy sitting there saying, ‘Christian, didn’t somebody ever take a leap of faith on you to do something radically different than you’ve ever done before? Give me that opportunity.’ So I’m thinking, ‘Oh, f—!’”

Bale’s advisers were against it too. Not just because Terminator Salvation was a sequel to a sequel to a sequel, but also because of McG himself, a man with little more to his credit than “The OC,” a couple of “Charlie’s Angels” movies, and a ridiculous name.

“I had people telling me, ‘Don’t do it, Christian. Don’t go with that guy.’ In a strange way, I like the fact that he keeps that name because it does him no friggin’ favors,” says Bale. “But people hear it and they go, ‘F— him!’ People were telling me, ‘Christian, you’re too good for ‘Terminator.’’ And I’m thinking, I’m too good? I’m not a snob. I really f—ing enjoy watching a good action movie. Who do you think I am?!”

Now at the premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood last night, Bale stands proud of his work and hopes the fans will love it.

Bale is the first to admit that he has no clue which of his films will connect with audiences. But he’s convinced that “Salvation” will click despite the doubters and distractions. “Look, all of the stuff with my behavior and what people f—ing think of McG, none of that should matter a damn to anyone. They just want a damn good movie.”

Terminator Salvation hits theaters May 21st.

DANGGGGG!!!!!!!

I want to personally take this opportunity and thank rapper/actor Common for cleaning up that beard for a minute.  Has Common always been this fine?  I’ve seen him when he is rockin’ a full beard and I do not remember him looking this good.  Check out the shotz of papi chulo on Robertson Boulevard after a late lunch yesterday.

The Terminator Salvation actor spoke out on behalf of his co-star (and fellow sex gawd) Christian Bale after the horrible sound bite was released of him telling off a crew member.

Common told the New York Daily News, “Working with him was excellent. He’s a wonderful human being, just a really great guy.”

Ok baby, I believe anything you say.

Peter Griffin responsible for Christian Bale’s tirade.

peter

So it turns out that Peter Grifin was the one on the set of the latest Terminator flick when Christian Bale lost his cool. This explains eeeeeeeeeeeverything. You know, like that one time where Peter pissed off… I think you get the idea.

Christian Bale is sorry

balesorryChristian Bale has released an apology for the mega descarga he released on a crew member during the filming of Terminator Salvation.

“I have no confusion whatsoever — I was out of order, beyond belief,” Bale, 35, said Friday on “The Kevin & Bean Show” on L.A.’s KROQ 106.7.

“I acted like a punk. I regret that,” he said. “There is nobody who has heard that tape that has been hit harder by it than me. It is inexcusable.”

Bale said the idea that he thinks he is better than everyone else is completely false.

“If anybody ever sees that I really am thinking I am better than anybody else, stick a fork in my backside, turn me over, and I will be done,” he added. “That is not me.”

Wow that sounds kinda hot! Ok guys sorry let me focus!

Lastly he asks his fans not to take it out on Terminator Salvation, go watch it on May 22nd!

“Please, I am asking people, do not allow my onetime lapse in judgment, my incredibly embarrassing meltdown, to overshadow this movie.

“I am embarrassed by it, and I regret it,” he said. “I ask everybody to sit down and asked themselves, ‘Have they ever had a bad day and ever lost their temper and really regretted it immensely?’”

Do you forgive Señor Bale?
