Spotted: Dougray Scott

After enjoying a meal at famed celebrity hot spot Chateau Marmont, actor Dougray Scott was photographed chatting up a tall blond last night.

The Scottish actor is currently working a horror flick based on the Edgar Allan Poe story The Fall of the House of Usher entitled The Ushers. He will co-star with his wife of two years Claire Forlani and Rufus Sewell. The story follows two siblings who begin to feel trapped in their Martha’s Vineyard estate hire a real estate broker to help solve their problems.

Jason Priestley joins Sci-Fi Show

83514177BM003_AFI_FEST_200890210 actor Jason Priestley has joined the cast of the new BBC production of The Day Of The Triffids. The all-star cast for this adaptation of John Wyndham’s best-selling post-apocalyptic novel will include Joely Richards, her mother Vanessa Redgrave, Dougray Scott, Eddie Izzard and Brian Cox.

The story follows man’s search for an alternative fuel supply, which leads him to uncover the ominous Triffid, a crop now cultivated for its fuel that seems to have a life of its own.

The Day of the Triffids is currently filming and will be see on BBC1 later this year.
