It’s always a pleasure to see new pictures of Elijah Wood! The last candids we saw of him were from Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer tied the knot last month.

I couldn’t let the day end without writing up a special post for my bb Elijah Wood who celebrates his 29th birthday today! January 28th should be made a national holiday starting right now.
The Iowa native was on hand for a little early celebrating at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah where he premiered his new movie, The Romantics yesterday. He sat with his co-stars Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Adam Brody, and director at the Library Center Theatre.
Elijah spoke to MTV about how much the cast had during filming.
“One lunch break,” recalled Elijah, “instead of going to lunch, we decided to have a party at one of the holding houses. There was a little iPod dock, and we played very loud music and danced. And the girls were amazing.”

Lovebirds Josh Duhamel and Stacy Ferguson a.k.a. Fergie attended the premiere of his new movie The Romantics at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah today.
The Romantics is based on director Galt Neiderhoffer’s novel of the same name and centers on Laura (Katie Holmes) the maid of honor at the wedding of her former college roommate Lila (Anna Paquin) and the love of her life Tom (Josh Duhamel). The wedding features a reunion of all their friends from school who had the nickname “The Romantics.” The conflict arises from Laura and Tom’s on again/off again love affairs which Lila seems to want to ignore. The majority of the film occurs the night before the wedding as Tom starts to have second thoughts, Laura tries to come to grips with truly losing the love of her life, Lila deals with the stress of realizing Tom is having second thoughts.
The movie co-stars Elijah Wood, Malin Akerman, Jeremy Strong, Candice Bergen, and Adam Brody.

A very busy Elijah Woods enjoyed a coffee break with co-star Jeremy Strong in Long Island yesterday. The quirky star of such films as Everything is Illuminated and The Lord of the Rings trilogy is currently starring alongside Anna Paquin and Katie Holmes in the romantic/comedy The Romantics.
The Galt Niederhoffer film follows eight close friends reunite for the wedding of two of their friends. Problems arise because the bride (Anna Paquin) and the maid of honor Katie Holmes) have had a long rivalry over the groom (Josh Duhamel).
Also starring are Malin Ackerman and Adam Brody.

Being on location doesn’t keep Anna Paquin from getting her workout on! The True Blood actress is currently in New York City filming the Galt Niederhoffer romantic/comedy entitled, The Romantics.
It was announced today that Anna has been nominated for a People’s Choice Award for TV drama actress and the Showtime hit was nominated for favorite TV obsession and sci-fi/fantasy TV show.
