Two Johnny Depp posts in one day makes Rosy a happy girl! He is Vanity Fair‘s July 2009 cover boy.

The actor took writer Douglas Brinkley to his 45 acre private island in the Bahamas on his boat named, Vajoliroja, an amalgam of the names of his partner (singer/actress Vanessa Paradis), himself, and their children, Lily Rose and Jack.

If Johnny took me to his private island I don’t think I’d remember I was there to write a story!

One of the sweetest things is when he shares what he named the beaches on Little Hall’s Pond Cay.

Little Hall’s Pond has six different beaches–named after Depp’s partner, Vanessa Paradis, and their children, Lily Rose and Jack, as well as his mentors Hunter S. Thompson and Marlon Brando–each with a personality and cove of its own, and one patch of water deemed “Heath’s Place” after the late actor Heath Ledger.
