Zac Efron says Kon’nichiwa to fans in Japan

With Garry Marshall’s holiday rom-com kicking butt in domestic theaters, Zac Efron has traveled far and away to bring New Years Eveto fans in Japan! The 24-year-old attended a special press conference at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo on Thursday, December 15th, 2011 looking snazzy in a black suit, navy blue shirt and electric blue socks that peeked out while he was sitting down.

Gotta love his daring sense of fashion!

During the event, Zac talked about how one of his dreams came true during filming — locking lip with co-star Michelle Pfeiffer!

“My favorite moment has to be kissing Michelle just because I kind of was nervous about it.

“I had thought about how it was going to happen, so I was practicing by myself without her, and I imagined it going down very, very perfect.”

Want to know what my favorite moment was? Hearing him greet the audience in Japanese!! Looks like ol’ Efron is taking tips from Sexiest Man Alive Bradley Cooper who had fans swooning with his command of the French language!

New Years Eve opens in theaters across Japan on December 23rd.

Zac Efron shows off sexy mustache!

Check out Zac Efron is all grown up! Don’t get mad at me you guys but I can’t help but think of the 24-year-old back in his Disney days and find myself a little shocked at that little bit of facial hair growing above his lip!!

Mr. Efron was spotted as he made his way out of the Palm restaurant in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 with his shades on and a toothpick in his mouth. He rocked a blue and white horizontally striped shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of white canvas sneakers for the casual day out.

The hunky Hairspray and High School Musical star is gearing up for his animated film debut alongside Taylor Swift, Danny Devito, and Betty White in The Lorax come Spring 2012.

Zac Efron’s R-rated Comedy

Zac Efron has definitely graduated from high school.

Ever since his High School Musical days ended, Efron has made it a mission to prove his versatile acting chops. First was the beloved Broadway musical, Hairspray, then the indie flick, Me and Orson Welles while returning back to comedy in 17 Again before drama and romance in Charlie St. Cloud.

Deadline.com reports that the teen heartthrob will now be starring along side certified funny man, Seth Rogen, as a partying college student in an R-rated comedy, whose character lives near Efron’s frat house and has his life turned upside down.

While this is typical Rogen material, Efron is taking a big leap in a new direction.

Efron can also be seen in the highly anticipated, New Years Eve out later this year and then is set to take on the thriller, The Paperboy starring Matthew McConaughey and Nicole Kidman.

Zac Efron splashes shirtless with Ashley Tisdale

Putting together a post about a shirtless Zac Efron is almost as difficult as not over eating on the Fourth of July! To be completely honest, when I first glanced at the photos I failed to even notice that there was anyone else even in the frame.  But upon closer inspection, I realized that there was a young, pretty thing frolicking around with the newly single hunk and it’s none other than his High School Musical co-star Ashley Tisdale!

Zac joined Tisdale to celebrate her twenty sixth birthday frolicking in the ocean in Malibu, California on Saturday, July 2nd, 2011.

These pictures have tons of folks thinking the pretty pair are something more than friends. But if you ask me they really just look like two friends enjoying a day out at the beach!

Zac Efron takes a lunchtime break

After enjoying a bit of lunch, Zac Efron attempted to depart from a restaurant in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, June 23rd, 2011. The teen idol looked laid back in a wife beater, slim fit jeans, and sneakers as he was caught by a group of young female fans while making his exit.

Though he seemed to have wanted to remain low key, he chatted with the ladies and posed for some pictures.

The twenty three year old hunk is gearing up to begin shooting The Paperboy in New Orleans come July.

Based on the Pete Dexter novel of the same name, the erotic thriller centers around a Miami Times reporter who investigates the imprisonment of a death row inmate. The Paperboy also stars Tobey Maguire and Matthew McConaughney.
